Introduction
Duplicate Quote & Order Add-on for Dynamics CRM can be used to replicate quote and order. This Plug-
in allows users to replicate whole quote which is in “Won” state and whole “order” which is fulfilled and
is in “Complete” state.
Benefits of Duplicate Quote & Order
• Creates a replica of quote which is in “won” state as a new record.
• Creates a replica of order as a new record from fulfilled order which is read only.
• Minimizes the time to generate new order or quote with same data.
• Newly generated quote or order also displays the Parent ID from which it is replicated.
Pre-requisites
Following points must be followed before starting the Plugin installation:
• You should be logged into Dynamics CRM Online.

Installation
Installation Steps
To install ‘Duplicate Quote & Order’ plugin, the following steps has to be followed:
• On purchasing the plugin, you will get a zip file named DuplicateQuoteOrder.zip.

• Login into your CRM Account and click on Settings -> Solutions
• Click on ‘Import’ to upload and install the Solution.
• Click on ‘Browse’ button and choose the Package Zip File for Duplicate Quote & Order from the
Import Solution Window

• Click on ‘Next’ for further processing.
• Check the box to enable any SDK message processing steps included in the solution and click on
Import button to Import the Solution

• Click on ‘Close’ after successful completion message is displayed
• Once you import the solution, it will be displayed in the solutions grid view.

Configuration Steps
• Double click on ‘Duplicate Quote & Order’ solution to configure the plugin with your license key.
• This will open up a new window. Click on ‘Configuration’ from the options provided on the left
side.
• To activate the plugin, enter your ‘First Name’, ‘Last Name’ and a valid ‘Email address’.
• Now click on ‘Request OTP’ button to receive One Time Password for Email Verification.

• After receiving One Time Password enter it in the ‘Verification Code’ field and click on ‘Activate’
button.
Note: In case you have not received the One Time Password click on ‘Resend Code’ link to receive it.
• Once you have verified your email address, your plugin will be automatically activated.

Assign User Role:
• To manage the user roles, navigate to Settings -> Security -> Users.
• Now select the users whose roles are to be managed and click on ‘MANAGE ROLES’. This will open
up a pop up to select roles.
• To access AppJetty product entities assign ‘AppJetty Duplicate Quote And Order’ role to selected
users.
Note:
• ‘System Administrator’ will also be able to access AppJetty Product Entities.

Procedure
Duplicating a Quote
• To create a replica of quote, navigate to Sales -> Quotes.
• Open a quote which is already active and order is also created from that quote (i.e. quote is in
‘won’ state).

• To replicate the quote, click on ‘Replicate Quote’ button on the top left corner.
• This will replicate the quote and a success message will be displayed.
• Click on ‘OK’ to generate the new replicated quote.

• The newly generated quote will be in ‘Draft’ state. It also displays the Parent Quote ID from which
the quote was replicated.

Duplicating an Order
• To create a replica of order, navigate to Sales -> Orders.
• Open an order which is fulfilled (i.e. order is in ‘Complete’ state).
• To replicate an order, click on ‘Replicate Order’ button on the top left corner.

• This will replicate the order and a success message will be displayed.
• Click on ‘OK’ to generate the new replicated order.
• The newly generated order will be in ‘New’ state. It also displays the Parent Order ID from which
the order was replicated.

Un-installation Steps
• To uninstall the Solution, navigate to Settings - > Solutions.
• Check on the Plugin Name and click on ‘Delete’.
• Click on ‘OK’ to Delete and uninstall the solution from CRM.
