Operating InstructionsYourOster®ToasterOvenisequippedwithalltheoptionsofafull-sizeovenin acountertopappliance;toastsandbakes. NOTE:Duringinitialstartupyoumaydetectaslightsmelland/orsmoke.Turnthetemperaturetomaxandletrunforapproximately5minutes.

HOW TO TOAST1. PlaceovenrackinToastposition.Placefoodonrack.2. TurnfunctionknobtoToast.3. RotateToastColorControl/TimerDialclockwisepast10minutesthenback

to desired toast shade.

IMPORTANTWhenchoosingToastcolorlight,medium(setbetweenlightanddark)anddark,alwaysrotatetimerover10minutesandthenrotatebacktoDark,MediumorLight.Thiswillensurethatthetimeroperatescorrectlyandsafely.Whenthetoastcycleisfinishedthebellwillringandtheelectricalpowerisautomaticallyturnedoff.Tostopthecycleat anytime,turnthetimercounterclockwisetothe“Off”positionandthebellwillring.Inthiscycleboththetopandbottomheatingelementsoperate,howevertheymaynot glowredhot.Pleasenotethisisnormalandtheyareoperatingproperly.

BAKING1. PlacethefoodonthebakingpanandthenplacethepanonthetopoftheWireRack

intheoven.Closetheovendoor.NOTE:Wesuggesttoalwayspreheattheovenbeforeplacingthefoodinside.2. RotatetheTemperatureDialtothedesiredtemperature.3. TheTimerDialistheOn/OffSwitch.4. AfterrotatingtheTemperatureDialtoyourdesiredtemperature,thenyoumustselect

fromthefollowingoptionsontheTimerDial.Foritemsrequiringshorterbakingtimes,rotatetheTimerDialclockwise(upto30min).Atthesoundofthebell,thebakefunctionwillautomaticallyturn“Off.”– OR–Forlongerbakingtimes,rotatetheTimerDialcounterclockwisetothe“StayOn”setting.BakingwillcontinueuntiltheTimerDialismanuallyturnedtothe“Off”position and the bell will sound.Duringthiscycle,boththetopandbottomheatingelementsoperate.NOTE:Alwaysmonitorthefoodatthissettingtoensurethatyouarenotovercooking.Donotuse ovenplasticorpapercookingbagsinthetoasteroven.

Cleaning Your Toaster Oven1.Turnallknobstooffposition“0”thenunplugunitandletitcool.2.Wipeunitdownwithdampcloth.DONOTIMMERSEINWATER.Makesuretoonlyusemild,soapywater.Abrasivecleaners,scrubbingbrushesandchemicalcleanerswilldamagethecontinuouscleancoatingonthisunit.

3.Swing-openthecrumbtray,tipbackovenandpullthecrumbtrayknobforwardandthen down.

4.Shakeoffcrumbsfromcrumbtray.Cleaningthecrumbtrayoftenwillavoidanyaccumulations.

5.Removewirerackandcleanwithdampclothorplaceinthetoprackofthedishwasher.
