1. Introduction

This document provides the basic information of UPI Mobile App. This Cover

registration flow, set Application Password, mapping bank account to payment

address, Send money, request money, Payment address management (addition,

deletion) , Complaint lodgement, forgot password, set/change MPIN, my profile,

change application password, transaction history, notification etc.

2. Getting started

2.1. Registration & Mobile Number Validation

To use UPI Application, user needs to send an SMS. To send an SMS, select option

’Send SMS’ provided at the bottom of the screen. For Mobile Number Validation, user

will receive an Access Code on his registered Mobile Number. If the entered access

code is correct then application will allow user to set his/her Application Password

Note: This may incur SMS charges

For registration enter first name, last name, email ID, select security question from

drop down menu & provide the answer in the text box provided

2.2. Set Application Password

To set Application Password, enter & re-enter 4 digits password in the input fields

provided.

This Application Password will be the login Password

2.3. Dashboard

After successful login, user will be able to view the dashboard.

Dashboard includes following

Send Money

Request Money

Payment Address

Transaction History

Side drawer/Navigation Menu

Notification

Note: to use send money, request money, payment address creation is mandatory

2.3.1. Payment Address

To start send or request Money, user needs to set Payment Address & account

Mapped to it

To set a Payment Address, Add Desired Payment Address. It should contain a-z,A-Z,0-

9, .(Dot),- (hyphen).

Mapping Bank Account with Payment Address

To map bank account, select bank from the UPI Enabled bank list.

For Bank of Maharashtra account Holder

In case user selects Bank of Maharashtra from the list then the list of accounts will get

fetched & reflected on the screen.

Select the account for mapping from the account list. Enter OTP. This OTP will get auto

read. If not user can enter the same in the text box provided. After the selection

account will get mapped to the payment address

For Non-Bank of Maharashtra account Holder

In case user selects other bank account. The accounts linked to his mobile number will

get displayed on screen. Select the account for mapping from the account list. User

will be asked to enter 6 Digits of Debit Card, Expiry Date. After submission of these

Details, OTP will triggered & send to user’s Registered Mobile Number for account

details fetch. After the selection account will get mapped to the payment address

User can map multiple accounts for one Payment address with setting default account

for debit

2.3.2. Set MPIN

For Bank of Maharashtra Account Holders

To set MPIN, Enter OTP in the text box provided. The OTP will get auto read. If not user can enter the

same manually. On the next screen, enter MPIN & confirm the same by re-entering it.

For Non-Bank of Maharashtra Account Holders

To set MPIN, Enter last 6 Digits of Debit Card, Expiry Date. After submission of these Details, OTP will

triggered & send to user’s Registered Mobile Number. Enter OTP & Desired MPIN in the Text Fields

2.3.3. Send Money

To send money select from Address, appropriate mode of payment from the dropdown menu. Add

Payee details, Amount, Transaction Remark. User can send Money to payment address, Account.

After the successful transaction, acknowledgement with the transaction reference Number will

display on screen

Note: If the Payee Already Added Then after Keying in any Letter of Payee address, the List will

Display for Selection

User can send money to multiple payees onto their payment addresses. To add

another payment addresses select “+” option from the right hand side corner of the

screen

2.3.4. Request Money

To Request Money, Select from Address, Enter Payer Address, Payer Name, Amount, and Remark.

You can Set Request Validity Using the Calendar Provided on Screen

Maximum validity of Payment request would be 7 days

2.3.5. Transaction History

On this screen, user will be able to see the list of transactions in ascending order. User

can check the status of transaction/lodge a complaint by tapping on failed transaction

2.3.6. Notification

The list of Notifications will display on this Screen.

To open this screen, select ‘Notification’ Icon from dashboard.

User can Accept/Snooze/Reject Notification by Tapping on it

2.3.7. Side Drawer/Navigation Menu

Following options are available in this menu

2.3.7.1. My Profile

‘My profile’ Shows the User Details .On this screen following Options are available

o Change Application Password

o Update Security Question

o Manage Favourite Payee

o Delete Payment Address

o Deregister Application

2.3.7.1.1. Change Application Password

To change Application Password, user enters current password , new Password & confirms new

password

After submission new password will be considered as application password

2.3.7.1.2. Update Security Question

To Update Security Question, Enter the Answer of old Security Question in the text box Provided.

After verification, user can set New Security Question

2.3.7.1.3. Manage Favourite Payee

On this screen the list of Favourite payee will display. To add new payee in this list user selects ‘+’

option & enter the payee details. User can remove the payee from Favourite list as well

2.3.7.1.4. Delete Payment Address

On this screen the list of payment address will reflect on the screen. User can remove the payment

address by tapping on it

2.3.7.1.5. Deregister Application

After selection of this option, application will asked for application password to proceed. The

application will get de-registered after it. Confirmation will get displayed on screen “Your Account

has been deactivated. Please Contact Administrator”

2.3.7.2. Set MPIN/ Mobile Banking Registration

For BOM Account Holders

To set MPIN, Enter OTP in the text box provided. The OTP will get auto read. If not user can enter the

same manually. On the next screen, enter MPIN & confirm the same by re-entering it.

For Other Bank Account Holders

To set MPIN, select Bank Account, Enter last 6 Digits of Debit Card, Expiry Date. After Submission

these Details, OTP will Trigger & Send to User’s Registered Mobile Number.

2.3.7.3. Change MPIN

For BOM Account Holders

To change MPIN, User enters existing & New MPIN in the Text Fields Provided.

After the submission the MPIN will get changed

For Other Bank Account Holders

To change MPIN, select account from the account list. Enter last 6 Digits of Debit Card, Expiry Date.

After submission these Details , User enters existing & New MPIN in the Text Fields Provided.

2.3.7.4. Complaints

User Can Lodge a complaint using this option. On this screen the list of already lodged complaints will

display. To Lodge a new complaint, user selects ‘+’ option & enter email Id, Subject of complaint &

description.

After the submission, this complaint will get Displayed in the Complaint List

User Can get the information regarding Application on this screen

To enter in the application, user will enter the application password in the input fields provided

2.5. Forgot Password

In case of Forgot Password, User can Set New Password by Providing Registered Email ID, Selecting

Security Question , Answer for Security Question
