1. Web monitor

The network card SC21 (hereafter called as "this product") always monitors the status of the Uninterruptible Power Supply unit (hereafter called as the "UPS"). In the Web monitor window, you can check the status of the UPS and configure various settings.

1-1 Composition of the Monitor window

The Web monitor is divided into three parts, namely the fixed menu (A) at top, the menu (B), and the display and setting area (C).

Fixed menu at top

Name Description

① Login username Displays the username of the logged-in user.

② Login/logout button

Used for logging in to (logging out from) this product. While the user is logged in, "Logout" is displayed, and when the user is logged out, "Login" is displayed. ☞ P.4 "1-2 Logging in to the Monitor window".

③ Language (English/Japanese)

Changes the display language for the Web setup window. Options: English and Japanese

④ Date and time Displays the date and time of this product. ☞ P.27 "4-1 Card Setting". ⑤ UPS model Displays the model of the UPS unit. ⑥ SC21 (IP address) Displays the IP address of this product. ☞ P.31 "Wired LAN". ⑦ System name Displays the name of this product. ☞ P.27 "4-1 Card Setting". ⑧ Location Displays the location of this product. ☞ P.27 "4-1 Card Setting".

Menu (left frame)

The menu consists of the main menu (① in the figure below) and the sub-menu (② in the figure below). Click the main menu, and the sub-menu appears under it. Click the sub-menu to display its details in the right frame. For the descriptions of the sub-menus, see the table below. You can hide the menu by clicking the menu button.

1-2 Logging in to the Monitor window

Log in to the Monitor window, and you can set various items.

Here, using an example of changing the IP address of this product to "192.168.2.120", how to set items will be explained. For details on how to set the IP address for this product, see the attached "SC21 Setup Guide". The factory default value for the IP address of this product is "192.168.2.150". ① Start the Web browser and enter the IP address of this product in the address bar.

2. System Status

In System Status, you can check items such as the operating status of the UPS and product information.

2-1 UPS Monitor

You can visually check the operating status, schedule, and others of the UPS.

① Power Flow Diagram

This area displays the UPS input/output power supply status using a diagram. The most important part of it is the "Operating Status" light at the lower left. If the "Operating Status" light turns yellow or red, check the "Active Event List" (⑤ in the above figure / P.9 ⑤).

Standby state (UPS stopped)

The following status arises: The commercial power (input power) is turned ON and the UPS is turned OFF (output stopped). The battery is being charged. Also after shutdown by shutdown immediately operation or schedule action, this status arises.

Commercial operation (Line interactive system) The following status arises: The commercial power

(input power) is turned ON and the UPS is also turned ON (in commercial operation). Input power is being output. The battery is being charged. * You can check the power supply system by

selecting the [UPS Status] tab, then "UPS Identification".

Commercial operation (On-line type power supplying system) The following status arises: The commercial power

(input power) is turned ON and the UPS is also turned ON (in commercial operation). Input power is being output via inverter. The battery is being charged. * You can check the power supply system by

selecting the [UPS Status] tab, then "UPS Identification".

Test mode (Battery mode)

The commercial power supply (input power) is turned ON, the UPS is also turned ON, and a battery test is running. Power is being output from the battery. When the battery test is completed, commercial operation resumes.

Input power supply abnormal (Backup operation) An input power supply abnormal event (a power

outage or fluctuation of voltage and others) is detected. Power is being output from the battery. * When shutdown is set When an input power supply abnormal event

continues longer than "Waiting Time", shutdown starts.

Battery low (Backup operation)

This state arises when the battery level becomes low during backup operation caused by an input power supply abnormal event. When the battery runs out, the UPS stops.

Error (Operating status light turned red/power being output) Bypass operation (commercial power being output

directly) is underway due to the occurrence of an UPS error (UPS failure or an error caused by the environment) during commercial operation. Refer to “Active Event List” (☞P.9 ⑤) to take action. * If a power outage occurs during bypass

operation, power output stops.

Error (Operating status light turned red/power not being output) This is a state in which the UPS is stopped due to

an error (including an error caused by load). Refer to “Active Event List” (☞P.9 ⑤) and the instruction manual for the UPS and check the status of the UPS.

② Voltage Real-time Chart

This chart displays the input/output voltages of the UPS in real-time in graph format. When the input voltage is the same as the output voltage, the output voltage graph is put on the input voltage graph.

③ UPS Real-Time Chart/Load Real-Time Chart

Battery Voltage: Displays the voltage of the built-in battery of the UPS. Battery Capacity: Displays the rough charged level of the built-in battery of the UPS. UPS Temperature: Displays the temperature inside the UPS.

This chart displays the power consumption of the devices connected to the UPS as percentages. The rated output capacity of the UPS is assumed as 100%. The rated output capacity can be checked from "Output capacity" displayed by selecting [System Status] - [UPS Status] - [UPS Identification].

④ Schedule Calendar

UPS schedules can be checked for each month.

2-2 UPS Status

You can check such items as the statuses of the UPS and battery and the latest schedule.

Item Description UPS Identification

UPS Status Displays the status of the UPS. UPS Normal / UPS Fail / UPS End of Life

UPS Model Displays the model of the UPS unit. UPS Type Displays the power supplying system of the UPS. Output capacity (VA) Displays the output rating in VA. Output capacity (W) Displays the output rating in W.

Input Power Input Voltage (V) Displays the voltage of commercial power. Input Frequency (Hz) Displays the frequency of commercial power.

Output Power

Outlet A Status Displays the output status of outlet group A. Outlet B Status Displays the output status of outlet group B. Outlet C Status Displays the output status of outlet group C. Output Voltage (V) Displays the output voltage of the UPS. Output Frequency (Hz)

Displays the output frequency of the UPS.

Output Load Capacity (%)

Displays the power consumption of the devices connected to the UPS.

Battery Battery Status Displays the status of the built-in battery. Battery Normal / Battery Weak / Battery Disconnect / Battery Connection Error / Battery Temperature Fail

Temperature (°C) Displays the internal temperature of the UPS. Battery Voltage (V) Displays the voltage of the built-in battery. Battery Capacity (%) Displays the rough charged level of the battery. Battery Runtime (Min)

Displays rough backup time calculated from the power consumption of the connected devices and the charged battery level.

Additional Battery Unit Number

Displays the number of expansion battery units.

Battery Replace Date Displays the date the use of the battery started (yyyy/mm/dd). Select [UPS Management] - [UPS Setting] - "Battery Replace Date" to set the date.

Event /Schedule

Last Event Displays the last recorded event. Last Battery Test Time

Displays the time and date a battery test was executed last in yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm format.

Next Battery Test Time

Displays the time and date scheduled for the next battery test in yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm format.

UPS Next UPS Off Time

Displays the time and date scheduled for the next UPS stop operation in yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm format.

UPS Next ON Time Displays the time and date scheduled for the next UPS start operation in yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm format.

3. UPS Management You can set, control, set the shutdown of the UPS when an event occur.

3-1 UPS Settings

You can set the UPS main unit. When this product starts communicating with the UPS, the set values on the UPS side will be loaded. Setting item Option/default

Battery Replaced Date (yyyy/mm/dd)

yyyy/mm/dd Record the date the use of the battery started. When newly installing a UPS unit, set the same date as the date the use of that UPS started.

Battery Auto Test *1

Off/On Set the execution of Battery Auto Test, which is executed every four weeks. Select the option and press the "Apply" button at the bottom to write the setting into the UPS unit.

Function Test *2

Off/On Set the execution of a self test (10-second discharge) at UPS startup. Select the option and press the "Apply" button at the bottom to write the setting into the UPS unit. * This item is not enabled for any of the following models, which

do not have this setting change function. BU50SW/BU75SW/BU100SW/BU150SW

UPS Cold Start *2

Enable/Disable This function starts up the UPS (supplies power to the connected devices) where AC power is not available. When "Enable" is set for Cold Start, without connecting to AC power, by turning the power switch of the UPS on, backup operation (battery output) starts. When the UPS is connected to the commercial power supply during Cold Start operation, the UPS shifts to commercial operation. Select the option and press the "Apply" button at the bottom to write the setting into the UPS unit. * While the UPS is running in Cold Start mode, the UPS stops

when the battery runs out. * This feature is disabled for a model not having it.

AC Input Voltage Sensitivity *2

Normal /Low /High

Set the line-interactive power supply system. The threshold value for voltage adjustment or input power supply abnormal event detection changes according to this setting. For details, refer to the instruction manual for the UPS.

Options vary depending on the specifications of the UPS.

Change the output voltage. Supported voltages are displayed as options.

Buzzer Function (Complete stop)

Enable/Disable All types of beeps available in the UPS can be set to OFF. When this item is disabled, the buzzer does not beep in any of the following cases. - Startup - Backup operation due to an input power supply abnormal event - Battery low - Battery replacement (battery weak) - Failure alarm (error alarm)

Buzzer *1

Off/On The buzzer can be set to OFF for backup operation due to an input power supply abnormal event (and battery low event) and for battery replacement (battery weak) each. However, the buzzer beeps for UPS start up and for UPS failure (error).

Over Temperature Set Point (°C)

The default value is 90deg C.

Aside from detection by the UPS unit, it is possible to set the temperature to be detected as abnormal by this product. When the internal temperature of the UPS exceeds the value set for this item, an over-temperature event arises. * This setting has nothing to do with an over-temperature error

to be detected by the UPS unit. Over Load Set Point (%)

The default value is 101%.

Aside from detection by the UPS unit, it is possible to set the amount to be detected as overload by this product. When the load amount (a sum of amounts of power consumed by the connected devices) exceeds the set value, an overload event arises. * This setting has nothing to do with an overload error (overload)

to be detected by the UPS unit. AC Fail Maximum Backup Time *2

The default value is 0 minutes. (0 means disabled.)

This function realizes the following: When an input power supply abnormal event arises, after backup operation is performed for the period of time set for this item, the UPS automatically stops outputting power (turn the power off). ☞Refer to Caution,

*1 For models in which the UPS setting switches are used for configuring settings, this setting cannot be enabled.

*2 Cannot be changed during commercial operation. Set after turning off the power switch of the UPS.

To use "AC Fail Maximum Backup Time" together with "Shutdown Setting" ("Client Shutdown" or "Client Shutdown/UPS Turn Off"), always set a value longer than the time required for "Waiting Time" + "UPS Output Stop Time" (a length of time sufficient for Client Shutdown). If a value shorter than the time required for "Waiting Time" + "UPS Stop Output Stop Time" is set, the UPS may stop outputting power before the shutdown operation is completed.

3-2 UPS Control

You can perform control such as stopping/starting the UPS and running a battery test.

Item Description Shutdown Immediately

The UPS and clients can be shutdown together immediately. Check the radio button and click the [Apply] button, and the UPS starts a shutdown sequence (Client Shutdown + UPS Stop). The length of time until the UPS stops outputting power is the value set by selecting [Shutdown Setting], then "UPS Output Stop Time". * When the UPS stops through Shutdown Immediately operation, the

UPS remains stopped. To start the UPS from this state, either execute "UPS Power ON" from

this product or turn ON/OFF the power switch of the UPS unit. UPS Power ON The UPS stopped by software through such operation as Shutdown

Immediately can be started. Check the radio button and click the [Apply] button, and the UPS being stopped will start.

UPS Restart

The UPS can be restarted. Check the radio button and click the [Apply] button, and the UPS executes a shutdown sequence (Client Shutdown + UPS Stop). After stopping, the UPS restarts after the time set for "UPS Restart Delay Time" elapses. The length of time until the UPS stops outputting power is the value set by selecting [Shutdown Setting], then "UPS Output Stop Time".

UPS Restart Delay Time

This item is used to set the time for keeping the UPS stopped during execution of "UPS Restart". When it is set to one minute, the UPS stops for one minute, then restarts.

Outlet B/C The supply of power from Outlet B or C can be stopped/started. Click the [Apply] button to immediately apply the setting. When the supply of power is set as stopped, even if the UPS restarts, the output of the outlet remains stopped. To resume output, set "Output Start".

Buzzer Test The buzzer can be tested for beeping. Check the radio button and click the [Apply] button, and the UPS buzzer beeps once.

Battery Test Either "Function Test" or "Battery Auto Test" can be selected and executed. Click the [Apply] button to execute the selected test. * Options differ depending on the UPS model. * The test cannot be executed if the required conditions are not met

such as when the battery level is not sufficient. Last Test Start Time The time and date the last battery test started are displayed in

yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm format. Last Test Result The last battery test result is displayed.

The setting related to the shutdown operation of the UPS can be performed. ① Event

The following six shutdown events are available. Item Description

AC Fail A state in which the UPS is in backup operation due to such a cause as a power outage and input voltage or frequency fluctuation

Battery Low A state in which the battery level is low.

Over Load A state in which the power consumption of the connected devices is over the threshold set in this product. ☞P.13 "Over Load Set Point ".

Over Temperature A state in which the internal temperature of the UPS is over the threshold set in this product. ☞P.13 "Over Temperature Set Point ".

Schedule(Weekly) Schedule action set to be executed weekly. ☞P.21 "3-6 Schedule (UPS Stop/UPS Start)".

Schedule(Special Day) Schedule action set to be executed on the specified day. ☞P.21 "3-6 Schedule (UPS Stop/UPS Start)".

② Device Shutdown Action For each shutdown event, one of the following actions can be selected.

A client computer is a computer in which the client software of this product PowerAct Pro SlaveAgent is installed. ☞P.43 "Client Computer Information".

③ Waiting Time

Waiting Time has two different meanings depending on the nature of the event. Events Description

AC Fail Waiting Time is used to set the period of time from the occurrence of an event to the start of shutdown operation (Client Shutdown or Client Shutdown/UPS Turn OFF). If the event is resolved within the Waiting Time, shutdown is not started. (Setting value: 0 to 36,000 seconds)

Over Temperature

Schedule(Weekly) Waiting Time is used to set the time for warning the client before starting scheduled shutdown. When it is set to 600 seconds, action for warning the client starts 600 seconds before the start time of scheduled shutdown. (Setting value: 0 to 600 seconds before/Default value: 600 seconds before) ☞P.21 "3-6 Schedule (UPS Stop/UPS Start)".

Schedule(Special Day)

A UPS On/Off sequence also includes [Waiting Time]. To set the latest schedule, complete the setting operation before [Waiting Time] starts. If the setting is made after [Waiting Time] starts, the corresponding schedule action will not be executed. Example: When the Waiting Time is 600 seconds and the UPS stops at 18:00, the schedule start time is

17:50 (warning start time). If the setting operation is completed at 17:55: The relevant schedule action cannot be executed

because the schedule start time has already come. When the setting operation is completed at 17:45: The relevant schedule action will be executed

because the schedule start time is yet to come.

④ 1st Warning/Warning Interval These items are used to set a length of time from event occurrence to 1st warning and intervals at which a warning is repeated.

This item can set the length of time from when the Waiting Time elapses until the UPS stops. For an UPS with the outlet control feature, the stop time can be set for each outlet. For an UPS without the outlet control feature, only Outlet A is enabled. (Setting value: 0 to 1800 seconds/in increments of 60 seconds) * For details on the outlet control feature and UPS action, refer to the

instruction manual for the UPS. UPS Restart after AC recover On/Off

This item can set UPS restart to be executed when AC power recovers after the UPS shuts down due to an input power supply abnormal event. When this product starts communicating with the UPS, the settings on the UPS side will be loaded. When this item is disabled, the UPS remains stopped even after AC power recovery. In such a case, turn the power switch of the UPS unit OFF/ON to start the UPS. * For models in which the UPS setting switches are used for

configuring settings, this setting cannot be enabled. UPS Restart condition after AC recover

"Battery Capacity (charged level)" and "UPS Start Delay Time" can be added to the UPS restart conditions. When "Enable" is selected, the "Battery Capacity" and "UPS Start Delay Time" fields become enabled.

Battery Capacity (%) The battery charged level can be added to the UPS restart conditions. Unless the battery level becomes equal to or higher than the set level, the UPS does not start. (Setting value: 0 to 100%) * When this product starts communicating with the UPS, the settings

on the UPS side will be loaded. * The factory default of the UPS is 0%. * This feature is disabled for a model not having it.

UPS Start Delay Time (Sec)

This item can set the delay time until the UPS starts after AC power recovery. (Setting value: 0 to 999 seconds) * When this product starts communicating with the UPS, the settings

on the UPS side will be loaded. UPS Output (turn on) delay time Outlets A to C

A delay can be set to the power output start time for each outlet group. This setting is used when it is desired that a time interval be provided before the supply of power to the connected device starts. (Setting value: 0 to 1800 seconds/in increments of 60 seconds) * This feature is disabled for a model not having it.

3-4 Send Command

You can send a UPS control command. Type a command in the "Input Command" field and click the [Apply] button. And, the details of the response from the UPS are displayed in the "Command Response" area.

3-5 Script Shutdown

You can execute a registered script when the UPS shuts down, when AC power recovers, and when the UPS starts up.

When you have changed the setting, be sure to click the [Apply] button.

Item Description

Test Select this checkbox for testing the script. Select the checkbox and click the [Script Shutdown Test] button, and the registered script is executed.

IP Address Enter the IP address of the Script Shutdown target device.

Select Outlet Select the UPS output outlet to which the device power cable is connected. (UPS with output outlet control function only)

Protocol Set the communication method for the script. Options: Disable/Telnet/SSH

Condition Select a condition for executing the script.

Login ID1 Set the login ID (general) for the script target device. Write "$u1" in the script, and it is replaced with the value written for this item when the script is executed.

Shutdown The script is executed for shutdown. AC Recover After the UPS shuts down due to an input power

supply abnormal event, the script is executed when the conditions "Power Recovery" and "UPS Startup"( Including manual operation with the power switch of the UPS unit.) are met.

Output Start The script is executed when the UPS that was stopped during commercial operation starts up. Test Result Display the result of the script shutdown test. After a test is executed, it takes about one minute to obtain the result.

3-6 Schedule (UPS Stop/UPS Start)

You can set a schedule for stopping/starting the UPS. A maximum of 16 schedules can be registered.

Stop Day Set the day of the week for Weekly and set the date in yyyy/mm/dd format for Special Day.

Stop Time(hh:mm) Set the time of day for starting shutdown in hh:mm format. The UPS stops when "UPS Output Stop Time" in [Shutdown Setting] passes after the shutdown time. ☞P.15 "3-3 Shutdown Setting" Example: When the shutdown time is 20:00 and the UPS Output Stop

Time is 180 seconds 20:00 Client Shutdown starts. 20:03 The UPS stops.

Start Day Set the day of the week for Weekly and set the date in yyyy/mm/dd format for Special Day.

Start Time(hh:mm) Set the time of day for starting the UPS in hh:mm format. For the time for starting the UPS, set a sufficient value - one minute or more after the time the UPS stops.

- A shutdown action in Schedule is an action specified in [Shutdown Setting].

[UPS Management] -> [Shutdown Setting] ☞P.15 "3-3 Shutdown Setting". - Either "Weekly" or "Special Day" has precedence. To add the "Special Day" setting to the action set as

"Weekly", "disable" the "Weekly" setting on the target day.

3-7 Schedule (Battery Test)

You can set a schedule for Function Test or Battery Auto Test. A maximum of 14 schedules can be registered.

Item Description Test Day Select the battery test execution day between "Day of the Week" and

"Special Day". When a day of the week is specified, a test is executed every week. Options: Disable/Sunday to Saturday/Special Day

Day(yyyy/mm/dd) This item is enabled when "Special Day" is selected for "Test Day". Set the day of execution in yyyy/mm/dd format.

Test Time(hh:mm) Set the time of day for executing a battery test in hh:mm format. Test Action Select between "Function Test" and "Battery Auto Test."

Options differ depending on the specifications of the UPS.

When you have changed the setting, be sure to click the [Apply] button.

For "Battery Auto Test", the battery discharges for a certain period of time due to load. For that reason, when this test is scheduled frequently, it affects the battery life. Be careful.

3-9 Log Status

You can display and save logs of power statuses and events that occur. Event log

You can check events that occurred in this product and the UPS.

Item Description ① System Event Log Events that occurred in this product are logged. ② UPS Event Log Events that occurred in the UPS are logged. ③ From To You can display logs by specifying a period.

Click over the From (To) field, and when the calendar appears, click the target date. You can also enter the date (yyyy/mm/dd) in text. After you are done specifying the period in the From and To fields, click the "Refresh" button on the right.

④ Event Level Logs can be displayed after being narrowed down by event level.

⑤ Refresh button Select ③ "From To" and ④ "Event Level" and click the "Refresh" button. The events that meet the conditions specified in ③ and ④ will be displayed.

⑥ Pages A specific number of event logs is set to be displayed per page. The number of logs per page can be changed by selecting [Card Management] - [Web Configuration] - "Web Setting" - "Display Record Log per page". ☞P.30 "4-6 Web Configuration"

Information Displays all the logs (Information/Warning/Critical).

Data log

You can check such items as the input/output voltages and frequency of the UPS and the battery level.

Item Description ① UPS Data Log Record data related to the UPS such as the input/output voltages,

frequency, load, and battery voltage. The recording interval can be changed by selecting [Card Management] - [System Configuration] - [Card Setting] - "Log Interval". Default value: 60 seconds ☞P.27 "4-1 Card Setting"

② UPS Extended Data Log

Record UPS data into a log per set interval with the maximum, minimum, and average values. The recording interval can be changed by selecting [Card Management] - [System Configuration] - [Card Setting] - "Log Interval". Default value: 60 minutes ☞P.27 "4-1 Card Setting"

③ UPS Information Record information about the UPS unit. This data is used by the repair center or customer support.

④ From To You can display logs by specifying a period. Click over the From (To) field, and when the calendar appears, click the target date. You can also enter the date (yyyy/mm/dd) in text. After you are done specifying the period in the From and To fields, click the "Refresh" button on the right.

⑤ Pages A specific number of data logs is set to be displayed per page. The number of logs per page can be changed by selecting [Card Management] - [Web Configuration] - "Web Settings" - "Display Record Log per page". ☞P.30 "4-6 Web Configuration"

⑥ Chart button This button is used to display data logs in graph form. Click this button to display the input voltage/ input frequency/ output voltage/ load/internal temperature/ battery capacity in graph form. To restore the data display in list form, click "the List button" on the left.

Log (Save/Remove)

You can save or clear a log file.

Item Description ① Save Log Log data can be downloaded by log item into a "csv" file.

Click the download button displayed before the desired item. ② USB Log Save Logs can be collectively saved to the USB memory device inserted

in the USB port (type A) of the product. ③ Remove Log Logs can be cleared per item.

Select the check box for the target item and press the [Clear] button.

How to save logs to USB

① Insert a USB memory device into the target USB port (type A) of the product. ② Log in to the product and select [UPS Management], then [Log Status], and open the [Log

③Check that for USB Status, "USB Storage Connected" is displayed.

* If "USB Storage Connected" is not displayed, press

the Refresh button of the browser.

④Click the [Save All Log to USB Storage] button. * When the "Set data successfully!" window appears,

click "Close".

⑤When "Save Done" is displayed for USB Status, all the log files have been downloaded.

④ Date/Time Display the date and time of this product. Time Zone Select the time zone of the area where this product is installed. Synchronize with computer date and time

Select the radiobutton and click the [Apply] button, and the time and data synchronize with the date and time of the computer being operated.

Synchronize with NTP server date and time

Select the radiobutton, enter the IP address of the NTP server, and click the [Apply] button, and the time and date synchronize with the date and time of the NTP server. Sync Interval: Set the interval in the range 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, and 1 month from the initial synchronization. Daylight Saving Time can be set.

Set manually Set the date (yyyy/mm/dd) and time (hh:mm:ss) manually.

You can configure settings related to the network port.

5-2 Wireless LAN

You can set a wireless network. An optional wireless adapter is required for this setting. For details on the setting procedure, refer to the next section, "Wireless LAN setting procedure". * Compatible wireless LAN adapter: EDIMAX Technology Co.,Ltd EW-7811Un

Item Description ① Wireless LAN Status

Displays the status of the wireless LAN adapter connected to the USB port (type A). If "BootP / DHCP" is disabled, you can set the IP address manually.

② Security Setting A wireless access point can be set manually. SSID Enter the SSID of the wireless access point. Security Type Select the security type for the wireless access point.

Options: None/WEP/WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK Encryption Type Select the encryption type for the wireless access point.

Options: None/TKIP/AES/TKIP+AES Password Enter the password for the wireless access point.

③ Wireless LAN List When the wireless LAN adapter is enabled, the automatically detected wireless LAN access points are displayed. Enter the password in the password column of the row of the access point to be connected, and click the [Connect] button. When communication with the access point is established, such data as the IP address of the wireless LAN adapter is automatically obtained.

5-7 Ping Monitor Setting (Advanced Setting)

You can perform Ping Monitor.

① Ping Settings

Item Description Passed Count Set the number of responses to ping that is judged as Pass.

* When the passing response count is 1 and the number of tests is 2, a 1/2 response to ping is judged as Pass.

Test Count Set the number of pings to be sent per test. Interval Time (Min) Set the interval of test execution.

You can select between 1 to 10 minutes in increments of 1 minute and 60 minutes.

When you have changed the setting, be sure to click the [Apply] button.

Number of client computers for this product. When SlaveAgent is installed in a computer, and this product is set as Master, the said computer is counted as a connected computer.

IP Address This column displays the IP address of a client computer. Computer Name This column displays the computer name of a client computer. <PowerAct Pro SlaveAgent> PowerAct Pro SlaveAgent (hereafter called as "SlaveAgent") is the client shutdown software for this product. By installing SlaveAgent in a computer, when this product shuts down the UPS, the computer can be shut down in conjunction with the UPS. <Poweract Pro (SlaveAgent) Configuration setting> SlaveAgent is set in the "Configuration" window (See the figure on the right). The parts enclosed in red frames in the figure - the set details for "Select UPS Outlet", "Computer Name", and "Shutdown Delay Time" - are displayed in [Client Computer Information] of this product. Agent Information (Agent List)

An agent is a master (agent) managing UPS. Masters displayed in Agent Information exist on the network in the same segment.
