Resume Builder
Create your own professional resume.
It is really important that everyone has a resume that
outlines their experiences, qualifications and contact de-
tails. A resume allows employers to choose the best can-
didates for interviews and can be the difference in help-
ing you get that dream job.
Your resume should be no longer than two pages and is a
document that changes as you progress through your
career. Even if you are in full-time education with no
work history, you should still have a resume, and you can
add your work placement to your resume, this will show
employers that you have some experience in the world of
work.
Attached is a resume builder and you can add your infor-
mation to this document and use this to apply for jobs. If
you already have a resume you can add extra information
to it, or start using the template that is attached.
Before you finish your work placement you should have a
resume that is completed so that you can start applying
for jobs. You can ask your host employer if they would
be happy to be added as a referee on your resume for
you, someone who is prepared to say positive things
about your work ethic. If you are going to ask your host
employer to be a referee it’s important that you have
done you best throughout the week.
