What we did

• A ‘carousel’ of games/activities (3 games at 3 tables)• Related to information literacy:

information sources, evaluation, referencing• Limited time – 5 minutes per game• Prizes for best team/good contribution• A total of 228 students (2015/16)

Why we did it

• To replace the traditional welcome talk/presentation• To engage the students with some of the

topics that are covered in the Informed Researcher workshops• So the students could meet the library

team• And to make the welcome event fun and

interactive!
