The University offers a dual master’s degree for students who plan to teach English as a foreign language and want to root their educational foundation in an understanding of communication processes.This program is also suited for communication students in the interpersonal and intercultural concentration who are considering teaching English as a foreign language abroad. WHY TESOL @UALBANY?
CERTIFICATE: Earn an Advanced Graduate Certificate in TESOL if you are a certified K-12 teacher or earn a Certificate of Graduate Study in English as a Foreign Language to teach in language schools overseas or at the post-secondary level in the U.S. This 16-credit program, which can stand alone or be completed as part of the master’s degree program, is open to students who are enrolled in a graduate program, have a graduate degree from an accredited institution or have a bachelor’s degree.
COST: Save with tuition rates lower than those at most private universities; earn two degrees in a shorter time with the TESOL/Communication dual-degree program.
