Case Study Abstract

This Case study is intended to explain how to use Rxi to build a report that display Cost of assets, accumulated depreciation, and NBV

Case Study Details

The requirement is to provide a report that display the cost, accumulated depreciation, and Net Book Value for every asset grouped by Major and Minor categories.

Oracle Assets has “Asset Register Report” which displays all data related to assets:

It was not acceptable to display a page for every asset while the information needed is in a line of three amounts.

Approach

Modifying the attribute set of RXi report to display nothing than required information and using this attribute set upon running the standard request.

Steps

1- Go to Report eXchange Designer Responsibility:

2- Modifying the Default Attribute Set

Start eliminating unwanted columns, adding the preferred ones, and rearrange columns
