“Tip of the spear”

USJTF Basic Offensive

Strategy (Phase 1)

• USJTF Special Warfare Teams push out FIRST on both the FAR Right and Left Flank of the

Enemy Airsoft Force. They are pushed out to accomplish the first objectives of the USJTF that

needs to happen to accomplish the rest of the objectives in the operation or event giving USJTF

Forces flexibility to maneuver without the danger of special weapons or key Enemy Leadership

on the Opposing Force or what we call OPFOR.

• Their Mission: To get to the rear of the Enemy Airsoft Formation undetected to act as a Rear

Skirmish Force destroying Key Enemy Communication Sites, Key Enemy Leadership, Enemy

Command, Control, and Logistics sites, and key objectives on the start of the game.

• A “Go” code or “Keyword” will be confirmed to the acting USJTF OIC (Officer In Charge) of the

USJTF Forces when the SW Mission has been completed by the USJTF Special Warfare

Elements.

This triggers phase “TWO” in all USJTF operations

USJTF Basic Offensive

Strategy (Phase 2)

• All USJTF Forces remain in a defensive line until the “GO” Code has been called by the SW

Elements signaling that the missions to destroy enemy Command and control have been

completed by the SW Units.

• If no signal is called by the SW element this its no issue….phase two of the USJTF Offensive plan

commences regardless. If the USJTF SW Element sent the signal VIA Radio…its easy sailing.

• The next step regardless of the outcome of phase one is to push out all Recon elements to an

Overwatch position designated by the USJTF OIC or Officer In charge. The Recon Elements must

push to a position on a map where they can see all elements that might effect future arrival of the

USJTF infantry units.

• The Recon units support phase three ”The Infantry Push” by reporting all enemy activity back to

the Chapter command they belong to in support of the oncoming USJTF Infantry units arriving in

the next 15-30 minuets.

This triggers phase “THREE” in all USJTF Offensive operations

USJTF Basic Offensive

Strategy (Phase 3) • All USJTF Infantry Units move forward with radio contact with both the USJTF Recon who is

directly in front of them And the USJTF Special Warfare Units in the rear learning about the

enemy in the rear through recon reports sent to the USJTF Command Cell.

• USJTF Infantry Units attack ground based on the information they receive from both the USJTF

Special Warfare Units and the Recon Units from their Brigade they are assigned. The USJTF

Recon and SW Units tell Each USJTF Infantry Commander what to expect VIA (Troop Size,

Weapons, EXC) and report all info to the USJTF Chapter Brigade or Battalion. The USJTF

Chapter Brigade or Battalion reports this into to the Infantry Companies..

• USJTF Brigade command sets up a mobile command post in a centralized location of the new

ground captured and reconsolidates and reorganizes all USJTF Forces to defend the ground in

Phase 4.

• USJTF SW Units reconsolidate and reorganize to support the brigades defense.

This triggers phase “Four” in USJTF Offensive operations

USJTF Basic Offensive

Strategy (Phase 4) • All USJTF units at this Point form into a defensive perimeter holding the ground taken by the

USJTF Battle Group.

• All Recon and Special Warfare Units now fall into the Defensive perimeter of the USJTF (OIC) or

Officer in Charge and take defensive positions in the Area Of Operations or the AOR.

• The Commander of the Battle Group redistributes Airsoft Ammunition and equipment for a

counter attack and repositions forces in the best positions available for a counter attack.

• The USJTF Commander informs the USJTF Command on the Situation of his or her unit.

• 1 Special Warfare Unit stays as a strategic reserve by the HQ Element to react to enemy

movement in a counterattack

This is the final stage in all USJTF Offensive operations for this

battle group
