The PEG-C is equipped with a number of safety devices that protect yourfamily. A low 

 water cut-off constantly monitors

 water levels,aiding in preventing a “dry-firing”and potential boiler failure. Inaddition, two thermally activated

safety sensors automatically shut off the gasburners should the chimney or heat exchanger

become blocked. Noguess work when yoursafety is concerned.

The Ratings marked “Net I=B=R Ratings”indicate the amount of equivalent directcast iron radiation each boiler will take careof under normal conditions and thermostaticcontrol. The Net I=B=R Steam Ratingsshown are based on a piping and pickupallowance of 1.333. Proper allowance hasbeen made for piping and pickup inaccordance with the factors shown in theI=B=R Standard as published by The

Hydronics Institute.

Selection of boiler size should be basedon the net BTU per hour output of theconnected radiation and system piping.

The manufacturer should be consultedbefore selecting a boiler for installationshaving unusual piping and pickuprequirements, such as intermittent systemoperation, extensive piping systems, etc.
