Utility/Driver Upgrade Procedure for DWL-650+

1. Un-installation Process

a. Remove the card from the notebook properly

b. Un-install the utility and driver from the notebook

Before uninstalling DWL-650+, remove the card from the notebook.

Select this icon from the right below corner of WinXPa

Select the wireless card and select “Stop”

Remove the card after seeing this message

Uninstalling the original driver from Windows XP

Select “Add or Remove Program”d

Select “D-Link AirPlus” and “Change/Remove” button to uninstall the card

Select “OK” to confirm to uninstall the card

The un-installation process will take place and the card is successfully removed

Restart the notebook after un-installationh

Installing new utility for DWL-650+2

Select “Setup.exe” from the Utility directory in the Utility/Driver CD or unload Utility/Driver from the website

D-Link AirPlus is preparing the setup process

b

Select “Next>” to continue

You may choose to change the folder for D-Link AirPlus or select “Next>” to continue

The installation process takes place

After the installation process, select “No” to restart the computer later

Manually shut down Windows XP

Installing Driver for DWL-650+3

Plug in DWL-650+ and power on the notebooka

Select “Install the software automatically” and followed by “Next>”

When Windows XP prompts this Windows, select “Continue Anyway”

The installation process will take place

Select “Finish” to complete the installation process
