Dimensions Dimension styles

WiseImage 12 dimension objects inherit values of their parameters from dimension styles. Dimension styles define structure and displaying of dimension objects in the document (line type, text style, dimension style). New dimensions are created using current dimension style. Dimension style for dimension object is set in the Inspector dialog, Dimension section, Style parameter:

Dimension styles can be tuned in the Dimension Styles dialog from the Tools menu.

Parameters of dimension style are listed in the Details window of the Dimension Styles dialog.

Besides new style creation it is possible to define different sub-styles for each type of dimension objects (linear, ordinate, radius).

New property of dimension object The new property of dimension objects Brackets encloses dimension text in brackets of specified shape: [Square], (Round), {Braces}, <Angle> or None.

New image from selection The New image from selection command from the Insert menu has been improved. If pre-selection is absent, then this command works on whole document. It is available to select or unselect objects when the dialog is open.

Options of the Image Parameters section are inherited from old command dialog. Options of the Position, Margins and Scale part of a dialog are very close to options in the Pinter Setup dialog including Plot style table combo-box. The only difference is the Nearest Image Scale radio-button, which sets the least allowable scale for specified paper to fit all rasterized objects. Absolutely new settings in the Save As section allows you to specify name and format for created raster image(s), to define destination of insertion (Current document or folder), etc. You can use macros in the Name text box to set mask for the raster image name. To insert macros in the Name field choose an appropriate one from the drop-

down list and click the button. The decrypted name is shown in the caption of the Save As section:

Macros are very useful for batch rasterization through scripts when several raster images should be created.
