Valves with zero lapspool and groundedspool/sleeve pilot stage arecharacterized by their high-dynamic performance, withlow hysteresis and highresponse sensitivity, toachieve accurate positioningcontrol and speed control.

    The application matrix to theright provides a quickvalve sizing approach formany industrial applications.Simply locate your applica-tion (or one very nearly likeit) on the chart, then read offthe Valve Performance Level(Standard, High, or ServoPerformance) at the top andthe ISO Valve Size (Size 3, 5,7, 8 or 10) on the right side.For example:

    What size valve and what performance levelshould I choose for my Sawmill Setworks?

    Sawmill Setworks applications generallyrequire Servo Performance type valves. Thevalve size could be either a Size 5 or a Size7 depending upon the flow requirements ofthe application.

    The matrix uses FrequencyResponse as the primarydeterminant for valve per-formance. This is not the onlyparameter of importance in allapplications, but it does serveas a good first reference.

    The application matrix to theright provides a quickvalve sizing approach formany industrial applications.Simply locate your applica-tion (or one very nearly likeit) on the chart, then read offthe Valve Performance Level(Standard, High, or ServoPerformance) at the top andthe ISO Valve Size (Size 3, 5,7, 8 or 10) on the right side.For example:

    What size valve and what performance levelshould I choose for my Sawmill Setworks?

    Sawmill Setworks applications generallyrequire Servo Performance type valves. Thevalve size could be either a Size 5 or a Size7 depending upon the flow requirements ofthe application.

    The matrix uses FrequencyResponse as the primarydeterminant for valve per-formance. This is not the onlyparameter of importance in allapplications, but it does serveas a good first reference.
