“The Cattle Plow in Twilight” is a drama acted by the students in the Department of Drama Creation And Applications, National University of Tainan and residents in Dazhong Village. The story is about a young man, named Te. Te came back from the US and started his livings in Dazhong Village. Initially, he was severely depressed since just broke up with his girlfriend soon after he came back. However, he started to have different thinkings after being in Dazhong Village for weeks. Tainan Snack Festival

There will be series events in Tainan Snack Festival. One of the most important event is the competition of Tainan Gourmet. The winner will get the prize of 120,000 NTD. Everyone with great knowledge with Tainan snacks can register for this competition before December 21. Everyone who advance to the final will receive prize. The final is going to be on the tisan plaza (beside Tainan Living Art Center). The famous chef, Ji-Fang Cai, will come to the ceremony, and demonstrate how to cook milkfish cuisine. There will be 50 local food shop invited to the ceremony, and a roadshow of souvenir of local specialty(the roadshow from Dec 11 to 12). 2014 Tainan Christmas Lantern Festival

We wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Tainan Christmas Lantern Festival comes back again to celebrate Christmas at the end of 2014. Tainan Christmas Lantern Festival combines with the Tainan specialties such as Anping sword lions to construct the happiness atmosphere for Christmas. There will be four theme lantern areas which are located at Tainan Train Station, National Museum of Taiwan Literature & Tang Te-Chang Memorial Park, Anping Recreational Pier and Sinying Cultural Center. Following the theme lantern area, the road connected to the lantern areas are all decorated with creative lights and imagination. In addition, the lighting gala parties are held by religious organizations and the government in order to deliver the joy, happiness, fortune and safety to citizens.
