014 Tainan Christmas Lantern Festival

We wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Tainan Christmas LanternFestival comes back again to celebrate Christmas at the end of 2014. Tainan

Christmas Lantern Festival combines with the Tainan specialties such as Anping

sword lions to construct the happiness atmosphere for Christmas.

There will be four theme lantern areas which are located at Tainan Train Station,

National Museum of Taiwan Literature & Tang Te-Chang Memorial Park, Anping

Recreational Pier and Sinying Cultural Center. Following the theme lantern area, the

road connected to the lantern areas are all decorated with creative lights and 

imagination. In addition, the lighting gala parties are held by religious organizations

and the government in order to deliver the joy, happiness, fortune and safety tocitizens. We welcome everyone to come to Tainan and admire the beauty of Tainan’s

night.
