This policy establishes the conditions and corrective steps VAI may follow when an employees performance or behavior is not meeting expectations.

Giving warnings and/or initiating disciplinary procedures are not obligatory steps leading to termination in certain cases.

The Institute is not required to take any particular action or series of actions prior to termination.

Under certain circumstances, a supervisor may determine that although the procedure should be utilized, certain steps in the procedure should be omitted or repeated.
