With reference to your RTI Appeal, it is stated that the concerned CPIO has already provided you the information available with the CPIO. However, it is again stated that there is a provision of Reserve List in the recruitment for Selection Posts and a procedure has been prescribed to be followed strictly for operation of Reserve List. Reserve list is available when all the posts (of a particular category) are filled up and additional number of eligible candidates are available in the merit list. Reserve list contains candidates who are lower in the merit list than those selected and nominated to the User Department, but comes within the maximum size of Reserve List prescribed in the Guidelines of the Commission. The size of Reserve List maintained for a particular post and the particulars of candidates in the Reserve list are not made public for eliminating the chance of malpractices due to disclosure of the same. Hence, your Appeal stance disposed of.

No. 4-29/2014-P&P-I declaring the tentative schedule of certain exams including CBM Exam for Phase-IV Recuitment of Selection Posts. The e-admit card of the shortlisted candidates are uploaded on the website of SSC(ER) before 07 days from the date of examination, for downloading the same by the respective candidates. Moreover, the candidates are required to visit the website of the Commission from time to time for sensitizing themselves about the developments in respect to various recruitments conducted by the Commission.

(ii) Query at (5)(c)(iv) - The final merit list/result in respect to recruitment to various post categories including ER10517 advertised under Advt. No. ER-01/2017 were processed based on the marks obtained by the shortlisted candidates in the CBM Exam. 02 vacancies in the post of ‘Farm Manager’ advertised under category No. ER10517 could not filled up due to non-availability of eligible candidates, which is already been mentioned during declaration of result for the above said post category published on the website of SSC(ER) at the said link http://www.sscer.org/MATTER/RESULT_ER01_2017_21032018.pdf.

Point No.2- The On-line CBM Examination (Graduate Level) was held on 15.02.2018 for Graduate & Post Graduate Level Posts. From the Staff Selection Commission (Eastern Region),346 appeared on the Examination. However, there may be candidates who appeared from other Regions also. Point No.3- Document Verification has not been conducted yet. Point No.4- Examination was conducted in a Single Shift at different Examination Venues under all the Regional Offices of the Commission. So far as SSC(ER) is concerned there were 02 Examination Venues. The Names of the Examination Venues are intimated to the candidates only for their appearing on the examination. Sharing of such information to any unauthorised person is tentamount to breach of commercial confidence, breach of fiduciary relationship and sharing of such information would endanger the life or physical safety of any person associated with the Examination Venues.
