2017 Allied Semen and GeneticsThis is the beginning of our 7th year for the Allied semen business and this year’s directory is the largest and best to date. Once again this year we have stayed on plan to offer a large number of young, great potential sires to compliment the growing number of highly proven options that make so much genetic sense for the core profit of the beef business. It’s a model that requires a defined effort to identify the best young bulls available, sample them across the industry, then sort the wheat from the chaff with data. By casting a large net and making sure a significant number of outcross sires are test-ed each year, we have the best opportunity to identify genetic leaders of the future. You will not find a group of sires with more profit generation potential for commercially oriented seedstock operations and their customers than you will find in this publication.

New this year is an expanded section of powerhouse Red Angus bulls. Along with our growing selection of unique red Simmental and SimAngus™ sires, it is a big part of our commitment to the red cattle business in this nation.

I hope you will appreciate the opportunity that you can find in the 2017 directory. I hope too that you will cut our bull owners some slack if some of the photos aren’t quite as good as the bulls are in real life. Personally I think that is signifi-cantly better than pretty and sometimes computer enhanced photos of bulls with little or no value to our industry.
