WISE REVISE WORD NERD MORE TO EXPLORE TONS OF FUN

Children today have access to a lot of technology in their daily lives. The internet has

become a fundamental learning aid, but also leads to information overload. Modern

life and its complexities demand that children not only stand out in their abilities, but

also fi t into the fabric of society, which itself is undergoing rapid change. As a result,

from a young age, children face moral dilemmas and need to learn to differentiate

between right and wrong. Often, children also grapple with low self-esteem, lack of

self-confi dence and peer pressure. For these reasons and more, Value Education

becomes a very important part of a child’s curriculum.

But how are values best taught and inculcated? Values are best taught through

stories and experiences which convey the message in a relatable and memorable

way, evoking empathy and compassion.

In this special book by Campfi re Learning, the storytelling utilises sequential art

combined with words which makes reading fun and creates a great impact on a

child’s mind. Value education has never been more approachable!

We are aware that revision helps children retain ideas for a longer period, so,

in this series we introduce Buddy Bunny, who will guide them through thought

exercises and activities to supplement the reading and take its message beyond

the classroom.

I am the colour of the sky and the water. Clearly, that makes me the

most important colour.

I am the most important colour as the bricks of a house are red. A house is important as it gives

us shelter and is a place to eat, sleep and live.

I am the most important

colour!

I am the colour of the clouds, stars and the moon on a clear

day! I exist during the mornings and the nights. Hence, I am the

most important.

I am the colour of the night. The stars shine brighter and the moon looks bigger because of me! And so

I am the most important.

I am the colour of the sun! The sun gives light and warmth to

everyone. And this is the reason I am the most important.

I am the colour of the leaves and the grass. The plants and the trees provide oxygen and food for

everyone. Thus, I am the most important.

white to paint the

Thus, you all are important and do much more than you think you do.

and black to paint the birds,

windows and doors on the house.

yellow to paint the sun and flowers;

and green to paint the trees

and plants.

Then, blue to paint the sky and

the water;

If someone paints a scenery,

they will need red to paint the house

and flowers;

Well! I think you all are equally

important.

Well, we are having an argument about who is the more important

colour.

What are you all fighting

about?

Nations are built in the classroom

Value Education 2 encourages and inspires children to develop a well-rounded perspective towards life. This book arms them with the values and life skills necessary to grow as rational and conscientious members of society.

The narratives are represented in a sequential art format combining text and illustrations to make the reading experience more fun, easy and immersive, while at the same time inculcating the habit of reading in a child. They are relatable and age-appropriate so as to ensure a holistic approach to learning, and are accompanied by activities that help the children study, revise and imbibe the lessons.

Value Education 2 deals with topics like honesty, the importance of a well-balanced diet, the consequence of not listening to parents, safety rules one needs to practice, and other similar issues that children may face at this age. It also has special sections on the environment and yoga.

The Value Education series will not only help children learn, but will also prove to be an invaluable tool for parents and teachers alike to guide young minds and see them blossom and grow into discerning individuals.
