Department of Computer Science organizesevery year Acumen Technical Fest , which provides theplatform for inter college students to exhibit theirtalent .This year we have organized “Acumen-10” on19th & 20th march 2010.

We included various events that helped thestudents in communicating innovativeideas that promote their technological skillthrough various events like PaperPresentation , Hired/Fired , Ad-Con , Tech-Quiz , Query-Con, Business-Quiz , C-Debugging ,Online Treasure Hunt ,WebTemplate Challenge ,Tech-Debate,Workshops , Lan-Gamming , CPU-Assembling & Tech -Tambola .
Around 600 students took part in variousevents ,the total prize money of 75,000 givento winner participants. The success of“Acumen-10” goes to management andprincipal for giving this opportunity toorganize Technical Fest , to all the Facultymembers and Student Coordinators for takinga lead in making this program great success.

Euphoria’10
The opportunity of organizing the most prestigious event “Euphoria’10” was given todepartment of computer science for the year academic year 2009-2010 on Apr 23rd & 24th 2010.which includes various exciting events like “Abhinay ,Theme Ballet , kriti , LAN Gamming, EuphoriaTappers ,Soul Melodies, RJ Hunt” etc, has attracted nearly 3000 student participants from variousother reputed Engineering Colleges of Andhra Pradesh and other parts of India.On 23rd , April, 2010 we invited one of the successful Telugu Film Director “Shaker kamula” toaddress , inspire the students and to Judge the “Vasavi talkies (A short film competitions)” forthe short films shot by student participants from various other engineering colleges. We invitedtwo good performers for the evening program “Toshi Sabri and Satya Master Troop Members”to entertain the audience with their performances.
On 24th ,April, 2010 we celebrated college Day and the awards were also given to thewinner students and faculty for “Euphoria -10” sports and games ,followed by “Theme Ballet” andperformances by “9dayz “ college band. The over all success of the “Euphoria 10” goes toManagement,Principal, all the Faculty members , Student Coordinators and students of Vasavicollege of engineering Hyderabad .
