The design intent of this project was to create a co-working space that would enhance innovation and give a sense of unity to the company and space. Using specifically Steelcase manufactured products, this office space captures the abundant source of natural daylighting, utilizes the existing concrete floor and incorporates a variety of naturally reclaimed woods.

02 TEXAS STAR MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
Stemming from the subtle beauty of one of nature’s most stable features, Texas Star Memorial Hospital’s conceptual design was inspired by the rustic elements of a tree and the reflection of its enduring growth. The strong base of a tree is represented in the waiting area and symbolizes the roots or families what will be utilizing this space.
Furthermore, having a centrally located nurse station allows patient to staff interaction and ease of access. Simulating the movement of tree branches, the patient rooms are located on either side of the nurse station, allowing staff to easily access both wings.
The rustic elements of trees, complementing neutral tones and warmth of a rich textile selections embrace each guest as they move through the space. This helps give patients for a refreshing and renewing experience during their stay at Texas Memorial Hospital.

1D4TH GRADE CLASSROOM - ROOM 125
As interior design intern at Schmidt Associates during the summer of 2013, I had the opportunity to assist on the Christel House Academy West project, located in Indianapolis. This new construction was to become the second building in an expanding academy.
During the project, I was able to assist with the configuration of central flooring patterns and wayfinding, customizing the design components for built-in cabinetry and labeling all room flooring finishes, paints and numbering elevations. All of this was completed using the computer software program: Autodesk Revit.

Master Bedroom Custom Built-InPersonal Request: obtain more storage
In the fall of 2014, I accepted a freelance residential interior decorating project for a family located in the Indianapolis area. The request was to repurpose their existing furnishings and bring new excitement into their living environment. With a limited budget and several family heirlooms for inspiration, the desire for a unique blend of rustic and new elements was achieved.
By creating a custom storage unit with a mixture of tall wardrobe storage, drawers, cabinets, and square ‘cubby’ shelving, all types of organizational needs could be met. There was also a request for a fireplace by the client; which would allow for a focal point within the space. By creating a built-in that provided ample storage and a new ambiance - the client was thrilled to be able to visualize the potential of their space.

One of the first projects I had the opportunity to work on was a major headquarters renovation located in OH. From top to bottom, this four story building was reconfigured and designed using solely Tarkett, Johnsonite products; consisting of multiple types of flooring and wall bases. These different types of flooring act as wayfinding to guide users though the space as well as help designate specific areas. d2p LLC was selected to completely furnish all four floors of the headquarters space using their Kimball Office products. Open offices, private offices, reception station, a cafe and large and small conference rooms are all comprised of different variations of Kimball Office products. The lead designer, President of d2p. Rebecca Dension-Schultz envisioned that each floor would have a unique and distinguishing color associ-ated with it to help users know which floor they were on. My task was to create signage for the interior conference rooms. The back wall was painted its designated color, with a frosted stripe across the glass, slight privacy was obtained while allowing the color to shine through.
