High Beam Assist High beam is automatically switched to low beam and turned back by recognizing vehicles ahead, oncoming vehicles, and the intensity of streetlights during night time driving. This system ensures the convenience of the driver and safety of all vehicles.

Smart Cruise Control This system automatically maintains the driver’s desired speed and keeps a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.

Driver Attention Alert This system monitors the driver’s steering behavior in five levels and alerts the driver with pop-up messages and alarms when detecting drowsy or inattentive driving.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System This system monitors the air pressure of each tire and warns the driver with an indicator on the cluster when one or more of the tires is underinflated.

Front and Rear Park Distance DetectionThe sensors installed on the front and rear monitor nearby objects and warn the driver in phases when parking the vehicle.

Blind Spot Detection This sensor device detects other vehicles approaching from the blind spots that cannot be monitored through outside mirrors and sends warnings to the driver to prevent collisions when changing lanes.

Six-Airbag System (advanced frontal airbags, driver and passenger side airbags, and curtain airbags)

Veloster provides all-round protection with six airbags, including advanced frontal airbags that automatically determine the deployment force.

Safety Unlock Safety Unlock was applied to prevent the possibility of intrusion through passengers’ doors. One press of the unlock button opens the driver’s door only and one more press of the button opens the remaining doors.

Front Collision Avoidance This system warns the driver with pop-up messages and alarms when detecting the danger of a collision with the vehicle ahead or a pedestrian using the front view detecting sensor (the combination of the front view radar and camera) and assists with the operation of the brake to minimize damage if needed.

Lane Departure Prevention Assist This system monitors the lanes and assists in steering to prevent lane departure.
