    Antique Stucco is one in an extensive range of Terraco Designer Collection products which have been developed to allow Designers and Architects alike to replicate traditional Italian stucco styled walls using modern technology.

    Terraco Antique Stucco is an acrylic based Venetian stucco suitable for application on most interior surfaces. By varying the application method, Antique Stucco can produce both a traditional and a modern wall effect. The final effect is a translucent highly polished finish resembling the appearance of Venetian polished plaster. Many different patterns can be achieved using different tools. For the traditional Venetian Stucco effect a broad trowel is used to create the ‘broad effect’, while for a more contempo-rary narrower ‘patch work’ effect, a spatula or spackle tool is used. As Antique Stucco can be tinted, it is available in an extensive range of colours.

    Terraco Antique Stucco is available as an product!Using the latest, advanced green technology, the Terraco EcoLife branded products are a range of ultra low VOC products, free from Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), formalde-hyde and other potentially harmful emissions. These water based, solvent free, products contain specially developed polymers and additives that ensure their inertness and ecologi-cally friendly nature. The EcoLife range of products surpasses the most stringent interna-tional and national regulations pertaining to interior decoration products with VOC levels of less than 5g/l.

    UsesAntique Stucco is ideal for decorating restaurants, galleries, hotel lobbies, conference facilities, cinemas, as well as private residences in an entrance hall, dining rooms, bathrooms and bedrooms. Application Antique Stucco can be applied using various tools – trowel, spatula, or spackle. Depending on the tool used and the stroke created, each tool will achieve a different appearance.

    Architectural SpecificationNew surfaces: Ensure that all dust, dirt and foreign matter are removed. Also ensure that

    all surfaces are free from salts, oil, grease and ridges. Protect all adjacent surfaces not to be coated. Repair all cracks, chips, voids and damages using Terraco Handycoat Interior. Prepare surface using Handycoat Interior and sand to a smooth level surface. Apply Terraco Antique Stucco as per architecturally approved sample.

    Ensure that substrate is firm. First wash down the surface with a sugar soap solution, rinse and allow to dry. Repair all cracks, chips, voids and damages using Terraco Handycoat Interior. Apply suitable primer. Apply Terraco Antique Stucco as per architecturally approved sample.
