options listed below:
1. Mask decoration experience
The Guests will have a stop in a workshop for a Mask course
or just demonstration held by Mr. Mario, who is a well known
painter. Mr. Mario provides for explanations and painting
material to the participants, who can paint by themselves
the traditional masks used during the Carnival. Then they put
the stings and….the souvenir is ready.
The mask painted by the Guests will be a nice memory of
this enchanting experience.
We have selected a strict number of artisans that are able to
host the participants in their workshops or special places in
case of big number.
The course can last 2 hours or more and in case of very big
groups we suggest to do 2 turns in half day.
Usually they can host up to 25/30 people each workshop.
2. Historical Carnival Costumes and Masks
Famous in Venice for the dedicated historical research
of Venetian tradition, this is for sure the Carnival
costumes and Venetian Masks atelier that we highly

This atelier is the real unique treasure in the deep heart
of old Venice, the exact place where you can discover
the magic of the golden years of Serenissima.
3. Glassblowing in Murano
Possibility to visit one of the best glass factory
with a demonstration of glassblowing
process (guests cannot do this, as the
activity is too dangerous because the glass
is incandescent but also because the
blowing method needs to be perfectly
learnt to avoid to be injured.)
At the end an aperitif will be served in the
garden of the factory.
Dining at Casinò
One of the most beautiful casino of all over the
world, located on the Canal Grande, is the biggest

The mezzanine floor of the palace hosted Richard
Wagner, who worked there at his “Parsifal” until his
death.

floor and then will have the possibility to challenge
the fortune.
The piano nobile (first floor) of Ca’ Vendramin

Day 4
Secret Itineraries of the Doge’s Palace
(Bridge of sighs, Casanova and other secret wonders)
By a specialized guide guests are taken
round parts of the Doge's Palace that are
usually off limits and get to learn lots of
wonderful facts about secret passages, the
palace, Casanova and the power that was
Venice. A real joy for all ages.
The view from the Bridge of Sighs was the last
view of Venice that convicts saw before their
imprisonment. The bridge name, given by
Lord Byron in the 19th century, comes from
the suggestion that prisoners would sigh at
their final view of beautiful Venice out the
window before being taken down to their
cells. In reality, the days of inquisitions and summary executions were over by the time the
bridge was built, and the cells under the palace roof were occupied mostly by small-time
criminals.
A local legend says that lovers will be
assured eternal love if they kiss on a
gondola at sunset under the bridge. This
legend played a key part in the 1979
movie a little Romance.
