Human Recognition Using RFID Technology and Stereo Vision
ABSTRACT:
In this paper, a method of human recognition in indoor environment formobile robot using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology and stereovision is proposed as it is inexpensive, flexible and easy to use in practicalenvironment. Because information of human being can be written in ID tags, theproposed method can detect the human easily and quickly compared with the othermethods.
The proposed method first calculates the probability where human with IDtag exists using Bayes rule and determines the ROI for stereo camera processing inorder to get accurate position and orientation of human. Hue moment invariantswere introduced to recognize the human being because this method is insensitive tothe variations in position, size and orientation. The proposed method does not needto process all image and easily gets some information of obstacle such as size,color, thus decreases the processing computation. This paper introduces thearchitecture of the proposed method and presents some experimental results.

Our preliminary aim in this project is to build a controlled robot, which
could be able to send the indoor status, through wireless cam, in that came transmit
the status of the place and obstacle information, transmitted info see in our TV.
Robot can control through PC and observe the robot motion in TV.
This project uses regulated 5V, 750mA power supply. 7805 three terminal
voltage regulator is used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is
used to rectify the ac output of secondary of 230/18V step down transformer.
