VENTURI PANEL FOR ANAESTHETICS GAS SCAVENGING SYSTEM VENTURI PANEL FOR ANAESTHETICS GAS SCAVENGING SYSTEM The Venturi type panel board is an excellent active scavenging system needed for expelling the exhaled gas, which is rich of anaesthetic products supplied in the operating room, of the patient. The Venturi panel board is the best technical/economical solution to realize scavenging pipeline systems suitable for areas with one or two operating rooms. It is supplied by the 8 bar air network and produces the suction needed for extracting the anaesthetic gases through the terminal units placed in the operating rooms. The Venturi supply occurs through air at pressure set to a value between 6 and 8 bar The lid placed on the top of every Venturimeter allows the regulation of the air flow of the related scavenging flow. The scavenging load from each Venturimter varies ( depending on the input airflow) from 0 to 60 lt/min with depression that goes from 0 – to 180 mm/hg (the preset values are 60 lt/mnt of aspired air with a negative erpssure of 110 mm/hg) The input of the air in the Venturimeter occurs through an electro-valve by remote controlled by the VENTURI CONTROL PANEL placed nearby the operating room. The Venturi type panel board can integrate 1 to 3 Venturimeters. It is necessary to consider that each Venturimeter can supply only one single group of AGSS terminal units at a time. CONTROL PANEL

THE CONTROL PANEL FOR VENTURI PANEL BOARD has been conceived and realized complying with the norms CEI EN 6060, UNI EN 475, CEI EN 61000-3-2, CEI EN 55015 and it is supplied with flush or surface mounting box.

The ON/OFF button activates the electro-valve which allows the passage of the supplying air to the Venturime-ters.

Any air pressure lack is displayed with an acoustic and luminous red led signal of the panelCOMPRESSED AIR INSUFFICIENT PRESSURE .

The “insufficient pressure” condition is set by the pressure-switch placed in the Venturi panel board.

THE CONTROL PANEL IS CONSTITUTED BY:

ON /OFF switch for the electro-valve activationRed LED to signal the insufficient pressure of the supplying air.Green LED to signal the tension presenceGreen LED to signal Venturi panel “on”Buzzer with automatic switch-off when the alarm conditions terminatesTEST button ( which activates all the acoustic and luminous signals)RESET button
