Access from the Insa Lyon
-By public transport, via tramway T1, "Tonkin" stop. -On foot: approx. 40 min walk (2.5 km = ~1.5 miles). -By Vélo’V bicycles: station "Chaplin/Dutriévoz", approx. 10 min. -By car: there are many free parking spaces on the "Boulevard Stalingrad", along the railway. After the plenary conference, we offer you the possibility to go to the gala dinner in small groups, while visiting the Ecocampus and the decentralised stormwater management devices: 1.5 km (~0.9 miles) on foot then Tramway T1 from the "Gaston Berger" stop; or 2.5 km (~1.5 miles) to walk to the venue.

1- Lyon: Meeting point at 9:00 (9:30 for French speakers) at the “rue Béranger” water garden, Lyon 6th district.
1. Lyon tour: meeting point at 9:00 for English-speakers (9:30 for French speakers) at the "rue Béranger" water basin, at the intersection of the “rue des Emeraudes” street and “rue Michel Rambaud” street, Lyon (6th district). The tour ends at 14:30 at the Kaplan park (picnic included).
Access by public transport: Metro line A or B, stop at "Charpennes"; Tramway T1 or T4, stop at “Collège Bellecombe” (then count approx. 5 min walk from these stops).

The Public transport of Lyon is called TCL (www.tcl.fr) The city centre is well served by the TCL network with 4 metro lines, 5 tramlines, buses and 2 funiculars F1 & F2
Time schedules The metro and tramway run from 5am to approx. midnight . Beware, some bus lines do not run in the evening or at night!
To go to the INSA Lyon Tramway lines T1 and T4 go to the Ecocampus LyonTech la Doua. Bus line C26 as well, notably from Villeurbanne.
Rates You will be able to buy tickets at the Novatech welcome desk, from Monday evening (welcome cocktail at the Villeurbanne City Hall) or Tuesday morning at the conference, with a choice between: - special ticket called “Ticket Pass Congress”. This ticket is valid for one day and costs 2.50 €; - ticket valid for 1 hour on the whole network, no return-trip, at 1.50 €.
The Rhônexpress tram from the Lyon St Exupéry Airport
The “Rhônexpress” tram connects the Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport to the centre of Lyon (Part-Dieu station) in less than 30 minutes (www.rhonexpress.fr). Departures every 15 minutes from 6am to 9pm, and departures every 30 minutes from 4.25am to 6am, and from 9pm to midnight. Approx. fares: One-way ticket = 15.90 € / Return ticket = 27.50 €
By car
For the meeting points, we advise that you check a road map to plan your itinerary. INSA car park, on the conference site: Parking "P9", rue des Sciences.
Vélo’V: self-service bicycles
You can rent bikes through the service of "VéloV" (www.velov.grandlyon.com) You will easily find “Velo’v” docking stations in the city centre of Lyon and the INSA campus.
You can buy an access card valid for a short time for 1.50€ (valid 1 day) or 5€ (valid 7 days). The first half hour is free. Docking stations near the INSA: INSA Avenue Einstein / IUT-Feyssine Allée Lumière / La Doua rue des Sports / La Doua Avenue des Arts / Einstein 1 Boulevard du 11 novembre 1918 / Croix Luizet (avenue Salengro). Beware, payment is by credit/debit card only.
