Jn 14,15-16.23b-26 BINKOŠTI
Če me ljubite, boste spolnjevali moje zapovedi.
Tisti čas je Jezus rekel svojim učencem: »Če me ljubite, boste spolnjevali moje zapovedi; jaz pa bom prosil Očeta in dal vam bo drugega Tolažnika, da bo ostal pri vas vekomaj. Če me kdo ljubi, se bo dŕžal moje besede min moj Oče ga bo ljubil. Prišla bova k njemu in prebivala pri njem. Kdor me ne ljubi, se ne drži mojih besed; in beseda, ki jo slišite, ni moja, ampak od Očeta, ki me je poslal. To vam povem, dokler sem še med vami. Tolažnik pa, Sveti Duh, ki ga bo Oče poslal v mojem imenu, vas bo učil vsega in spomnil vsega, kar sem vam povedal.«

If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
Jesus said to his disciples: “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always. “Whoever loves me will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling with him. Those who do not love me do not keep my words; nyet the word you hear is not mine but that of the Father who sent me. “I have told you this while I am with you. The Advocate, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you.”

Se mi amate, osserverete i miei comandamenti.
In quel tempo, Gesù disse ai suoi discepoli: «Se mi amate, osserverete i miei comandamenti; e io pregherò il Padre ed egli vi darà un altro Paràclito perché rimanga con voi per sempre. Se uno mi ama, osserverà la mia parola e il Padre mio lo amerà e noi verremo a lui e prenderemo dimora presso di lui. Chi non mi ama non osserva le mie parole; e la parola che voi ascoltate non è mia, ma del Padre che mi ha mandato. Vi ho detto queste cose mentre sono ancora presso di voi. Ma il Paràclito, lo Spirito Santo che il Padre manderà nel mio nome, lui vi insegnerà ogni cosa e vi ricorderà tutto ciò che io vi ho detto».

Wenn ihr mich liebt, werdet ihr meine Gebote halten.
In jener Zeit sprach Jesus zu seinen Jüngern: Wenn ihr mich liebt, werdet ihr meine Gebote halten. Und ich werde den Vater bitten, und er wird euch einen anderen Beistand geben, der für immer bei euch bleiben soll. Wenn jemand mich liebt, wird er an meinem Wort festhalten; mein Vater wird ihn lieben, und wir werden zu ihm kommen und bei ihm wohnen. Wer mich nicht liebt, hält an meinen Worten nicht fest. Und das Wort, das ihr hört, stammt nicht von mir, sondern vom Vater, der mich gesandt hat. Das habe ich zu euch gesagt, während ich noch bei euch bin. Der Beistand aber, der Heilige Geist, den der Vater in meinem Namen senden wird, der wird euch alles lehren und euch an alles erinnern, was ich euch gesagt habe.
