Step By Step Instructions
1 - Select Your Language
When you open the installer, this box will appear. You can select the Installer language. Note that this is not the language for Shutti Shutdown Timer.
2 - If you have not installed .NET Framework 4<
When you have not installed .NET Framework 4.0 , A message will appear asking if you want to update your current .NET Framework version. NET framework is required to run Shutti Shutdown Timer and other software.
3 - Welcome Screen
When you have selected your language (In this case English) the Welcome screen will appear, giving additional information about the installer.
It is recommend that you close all Shutti software

4 - Choose the Install Location
When you click ‘Next’ at the Welcome Screen, you will have to accept the End User License Agreement in order to continue with the installation.
When you reach the Installation screen for the Destination folder you will have to select a directory to install Shutti.
Default this is the Program Files folder.
5 - Start Menu Shortcuts
Shutti will place shortcuts in the Start menu. If you do not wish to create these shortcuts, then click the “Do not create shortcuts” checkbox.

6 - Ready to Install
When you are ready selecting all the options, it is recommended that you check everything.When you are ready, click ‘Install’.
7 - Installation
Please wait when the installer is installing Shutti Shutdown Timer. This process would not take longer that 2 minutes max.
If you want to abort the installation: Click ‘Cancel’

Shutti Shutdown Timer
About
Shutti Shutdown Timer is an upgrade of Shutti 2010 Professional that was released in 2010 as a pocket version of Shutti 2010 Lite. Because it was not so pocket anymore and the shutdown engine was outdated. We updated with a new Engine (V7) and removed the pop-up windows as it was not necessary.

Shutti Shutdown Timer Usage
1 – Select an action
Click on the marked box to select an action.You can choose from: Shutdown , Power off , Hibernate , Stand by ,Lock Workstation , Log off , Monitor off , Restart ,…Just click the action and it will appear in the box.
2 – Select a shutdown method
When you have selected an action, you have to decide if you want to shutdown at a specific time (For example: At 9pm). Or if you want to shutdown in a certain amount of time (For example: In 10 minutes).
To do this: Select ‘Shutdown at’ or ‘Shutdown in’Once you click the desired option, you will be able to change/set the time.
The format is “Hours : Minutes : Secondes”.Click on a format and change it with the Up / Down buttons.
You can also use the arrow keys to switch between HH , MM and SS.

3 – Starting and Aborting the timer
If you are ready with the settings, click the OK button. The status bar will show how much time you have left before it performs the action.
If you want to abort the shutdown, you can press the ‘Abort’ button next to the ‘OK’ buttonThe Shutdown Timer will stop immediately and close.
You cannot abort the timer if you are on the last second.
4 – Updating the program
You can update your Shutdown timer with the ‘Update’ button. It is wise to check this every 2-3 months as updates will make your program better and safer.

Shutti Safe mode Usage
When you are having trouble using the Shutti Shutdown Timer, you can use the safe mode instead. To select an action: Type 1 ,2 ,3 according to the action (For example: 1 = Shutdown)
Once you have typed it, press ENTER.Now you will be able to specify the time it has to perform the action.
The SECONDS MINUTES and HOURS are divided in three lines. So if you want to shutdown in 10 minutes you do not have to type 600 in the SECONDS line.
After you have pressed ENTER the Shutdown timer will start. This is a classic Windows shutdown timer that does not use any Shutti Engine.
If you want to abort this shutdown, click enter again.

Download and Extract the new updater
1 - New updater available
When there is a new update for the updater (this can be a new codec, server change) then a dialog will pop up asking you if you want to download the new update.Shutti Updater has to be up-to-date in order to work.
When you click the YES button Shutti will gather information about the new updater.
Just like a normal software update, you can open the manual of Shutti Updater by clicking the “Information” link.

2 - Downloading updater
When the downloading is complete, the extractor will automatically start and Shutti will close.
Pleas make sure you accept any security warnings in order to start the Installer.

3 - Extracting the updater
When you start the extraction tool, Shutti will first analyse your system to check if you are able to run Shutti Updater V1.4.
This process won’t take longer than 10 seconds.
After your system has been scanned you can open the release notes by clicking the “ Info” Button.
If you are ready to install Shutti Updater, Press the Install Shutti Updater button.
Shutti will delete all previous files and extract the new files.Shutti Updater V1.4 comes with a backup of Shutti Updater V1.3 (In case it does not work for you)

4 - Installation completed
This message will pop up the first time you run Shutti Updater.
Shutti will resume updating your selected software without any trouble.
Now you can use Shutti Updater V1.4

Using Shutti Updater
Loading Shutti
Every time Shutti Updater starts, it will download the software list and analyse the system.This list is about 10-50 Kb in size and is needed to download or Update other software.
The list includes: All software, download locations, Manual locations and version information.
Starting Shutti Updater
There are two ways to start Shutti Updater.1. You can start it directly from the EXE file2. You can use a Update shortcut
Both ways allow you to update your software but with the first one you have to manually select the software you wish to update.
With the second one Shutti Updater will automatically check if there is an update available.

When you start Shutti Updater Directly, you will be able to select any Shutti software. The list is up-to-date and includes all products.
To download a product:• Select it• And press Select
Then continue downloading the installer

2 - Starting Shutti Updater using an updater shortcut
Some Shutti Products give you the option to Update.
When you click on those buttons, Shutti Updater will start and directly load the information of your Update.
This is an example of an update for Shutti Desktop Edition.
Now you just have to click the “Download Update” button to download your update.

Downloading an Update
When the information about your software is loaded, you will be able to download the latest version of it by clicking the “Download update” button.
You can easily check the download progress with the progress bar.
If you want some information about an update you can press the Information link.

Installing an Update
When the download is finished, the Install button will be unlocked and you will be able to install your selected software.
When you click the “Install Update” button Shutti will close and start the installation process.
