Queridos Feligreses,
Dentro de un mes, hemos programado trabajos eléctricos en la igle-
sia que incluirán el reemplazo de las bombillas en el área del santua-
rio y en toda la iglesia. Es posible que haya notado que varias bombi-
llas ya no brillan y que su reemplazo proporcionará más luz en nues-
tra iglesia. Los accesorios de iluminación que iluminan
continuamente el interior de la cúpula sobre el altar
serán reemplazados por accesorios diseñados para
brillar por más tiempo.
Se utiliza un elevador mecanizado para alcanzar las
luminarias en el techo. Parece apropiado que, mientras
el elevador está en la iglesia, se pueda agregar un nue-
vo elemento artístico al área que está arriba del altar.
Al mirar por encima del altar, justo debajo de la cúpula,
hay un área arqueada plana. Hemos obtenido una palo-

Dear parishioners,
A month from now we have scheduled electrical work in the church
that will include replacement of the light bulbs in the sanctuary area
and throughout the church. You may have noticed that a number of
light bulbs are no longer shining and their replacement will provide
more light in our church. The light fixtures that
continuously illuminate the interior of the dome
above the altar will be replaced with fixtures that
are designed to shine longer.
A mechanized lift is used to reach the light fix-
tures in the ceiling. It seems appropriate that
while the lift is in the church that a new artistic
element can be added to the area high above the
altar. As you look above the altar, right below the
dome, there is a flat arched area. We have ob-
tained a dove made of bronze similar to the style
of the bronze tabernacle to place in the flat
arched area. The dove, a symbol of the Holy Spir-
it will provide a visual point of reference for pray-
er.

Dear Santa Cruz School Community and Parishioners,
We are in the process of attaining a new principal for our School.
I want to convey our gratitude to Mrs. Heather Vallilee for serving
this school year as the interim principal with grace and compe-
tence. In the New Year the position of principal was posted and
we have received a number of applications. Under the guidance
of the Superintendent of Catholic Schools we have formed a
Search Committee. The process will now proceed to an orienta-
tion of the Search Committee followed by review of the applica-
tions and interviews. Please remember this selection of the new
principal for our School in your prayers that we will follow the will
of Our Lord and continue to provide a formation of excellence for
our students.
