Performance assessments
• Appointment is, by contract you signed, for one year
• You must apply for any assistantship opportunities in any subsequent year
• Two assessments– November to decide continuation into Spring
2010– April as a summary assessment
Development• We will offer professional
development opportunities for you
• Some will be assigned on work time; others might occur off work time
Authorship• If you make a significant
and material contribution, you are a co-author
• If you make a marginal contribution, you are acknowledged
• All WED Initiative publications are released officially by Baker and/or Passmore

How do you receive task assignments?
• Through http://my.huddle.net (the WED Initiative Task Assignment Server) that delivers assignments via e-mail and on web
• Through oral instructions from Baker or Passmore, which you must document on the WED Initiative Task Assignment Server
Be clear about details &deadlines!
When is a task complete and accounted for?
• Most tasks result in written products that are delivered digitally
• Tasks are closed by Baker or Passmore on WED Initiative Task Assignment Server
• Task completion should be part of your record on the WED Initiative Time Accounting Server (http://OEWD-GA.notlong.com)
