• Print out and assemble as many of these composers as you want to feature.• Put up the timeline ribbon prominently in your studio and add one composer to it each week. • Discuss the newest composer with your students and where it fits into history.
ASSEMBLYTo assemble the composer pegs:
• Print out the composer cards (page 2) or as many of these pages as you want.• Cut them along the dotted lines and laminate if desired.• Glue each composer card to a clothes peg using craft glue so that they can be added to your timeline one at a time.
To assemble the ribbon timeline:
• Print out the period cards (page 3).• Cut around each card and laminate if desired.• Cut a small slit in the left and right side of the frame.• Thread your ribbon through the cards to create your time-line ribbon.
