Vicki and Kevin Davis Scholarship A Program of the EPS Foundation
This scholarship, established by Ray Davis and managed by the Enid Public School Foundation, is for Enid High School students who have successfully participated in the Vicki and Kevin Davis Scholarship Program at University Center and will be attending Northern Oklahoma College, Oklahoma State University, Autry Vo-Tech or another accredited trade school as a full-time student. The Vicki and Kevin Davis Scholarship Selection Committee will choose students to receive the scholarship. Payments will be made to the bursar of the institution upon written verification that the student is enrolled. This scholarship is payable up to a full ride, estimated at $5,500 per semester to NOC or $10,000 per semester to OSU, after all other grants and scholarships are applied. Trade school costs vary widely and will be adjusted according to the program selected. Applications for the Class of 2019, will be due at the counselor’s office by March 15,
2019.
CRITERIA:
Students from Enid High School who qualify for AND participate in the Vicki and
Kevin Davis Scholarship program at University Center
Attend Northern Oklahoma College or Oklahoma State University or an accredited
technology/vocational school
GUIDELINES:
High school grade point average (GPA) minimum of 2.5 OR Concurrent GPA
minimum of 2.5 for classes taken through the Vicki and Kevin Davis Scholarship at
EHS
Student must be continuously enrolled as a full-time student to continue receiving
the scholarship
Students are encouraged to diligently work toward completing their degree within
four years
Students are strongly encouraged to live on campus during their first year in college
as research shows that it increases student success
Student must maintain a 2.5 cumulative college GPA
o If student falls below 2.5 during any semester, a probationary period may be
offered to allow the student to remediate GPA on a case by case basis
Applicants are required to complete the Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA)
and provide information about the family’s financial need through the application
form. Assistance with this step will be provided to student as needed. Special
consideration will be given to students who are unable to obtain their parent’s
financial information due to extenuating circumstances.
Students who attend Autry Technology Center or another accredited vocational
technology school must maintain a 2.2 GPA
o If a student falls below 2.2 during any semester, a probationary period may
be offered to allow the student to remediate GPA on a case by case basis.
