ANNUAL MEETING/
ELECTION
Once again Victoria Grove did not make
quorum in order to hold the Annual
Meeting/Election. Which means not enough
Owners returned Ballots. Which in turn the
Victoria Grove Community Service also
was unable to elect Directors to their board.
At this point the current VGMA Board of
Directors will stay on for another year
unless they choose to resign.
Victoria Grove Community Service’s
(VGCS”) Board of Directors has the
opportunity to appoint Directors to fill the
vacancy that currently exist.
TRASH AT POOL AREA
The area next to the pool area on
the other side of the wrought iron
fence is a protected area and trash
has been found in that area.
We ask that all trash be placed in
the proper trash containers around
the pool area and not be thrown
over the fence in the protected area.
Upcoming Projects
The streets throughout the Community are being slurry sealed starting July 17 - August 28th. Vehicles will need to be off the streets starting at 7am - 7am the next day (24 hour period). Vehicles left on the street after 7am in the effected areas will be towed.
If you did not receive a notice, please visit the website at myvgma.org and take a look at the map to find your street and know which day your street will be closed off.
If you have any questions, please be sure to contact Beverly Richardson at [email protected] or at 951-279-3934, ext 227.
The Board has approved to install
new play structures at the Victoria
Grove Park.

Items like broken sprinklers or issues with the pool need to be reported to the management company so the item can be corrected in a timely manner.
VEHICLE GATES BEING HIT
The vehicle gates are being hit by residents and guests of the community. Vehicles have been seen rushing through the gate as the gate start to close to catch the gate before it
closes entirely. If you are doing this, your car may hit the gate and may do damage to your vehicle. The gates need reaction time for the gates to reopen. This has been witnessed time and again not only by the gate maintenance company but also the Community Manager while on site.
Once the gates start to close, vehicles must wait until the gates reopen be-fore tying to go through the gates.

It's Bee Swarming Season!!!
As the weather warms up, we anticipate Bees to be more prolific and will be swarming to look for new homes in walls, valve boxes, tree trunks, etc.
Bee swarms are a natural occurrence that happen when a parent hive becomes overcrowded. At that time, the queen leaves with about half of the hive. The group travels as a
swarm to find a new nesting site. Swarms can appear very large, up to 30 feet across in some situations. The bee swarm will temporarily rest in stationary locations such as tree limbs while the scout bees attempt to find a new permanent nesting site. This also provides a rest for the queen, who is larger than the workers and scouts, and cannot fly at the same speed or distance of other bees.
Since swarms are only temporarily resting, they generally move on from a site in about 24 - 48 hours. If the swarm is in an area that is out of the way, the bees will most likely move away on their own in a short time.
WILDLIFE PRECAUTIONS
Beware that you may see wild life such as, but not limited to, snakes and coyotes coming into your yards. With the vast amount of open space around the community and the drought wild life will be looking for wa-ter. As a result coyotes are mi-grating into residential areas in search of food and water. Listed below are some suggestions to keep in mind if you are experiencing a problem with coyotes in your neighborhood:
DO Feed all pets indoors or promptly remove all food dish-
es if you feed your pets outside. Clear brush and dense vegetation from around your
property Put trash in strong barrels with tight lids. Store bags of pet food indoors.
DON’T Use plastic bags by themselves as trash containers Leave full trash cans standing at the curb Feed or provide water for the coyotes or other wildlife Allow small animals to run at large; they are easy prey
for coyotes.
Riverside County Animal Control officers will respond to complaints of coyotes or other wild life which have become a threat to humans or are observed in residential areas during daylight hours. Due to the nature and characteristics of the coyote, the responding officer will make a determination as to what techniques or methods may be legally utilized in repelling the animal. The officer will also educate residents in steps that may be helpful in preventing future problems.
REMEMBER: Treat the coyote as you would any wild animal; do not attempt to capture, feed, or make friends with it. If you observe any coyote attacking a pet or lingering around an area, call Animal Control immediately at 951-358-7387.

Drive is maintained by the County of Riverside not

Center, Report a streetlight outage and fill in the information requested. You will need the street light pole number which can be found on a silver plaque on the actual street light that is out. If you do not know the pole number you can give a description of the location of the pole.
