Our new HD-IP range brings you all the IP products you will need, whether you’re a first-time IP installer, or an experienced IP specialist. HD-SDI gives you full 1080p HD footage over standard coax cable. That makes it as easy to install as a standard analogue system, but with far greater resolution. If you’ve installed analogue systems before there are very few differences with HD-SDI – the key differences are:

STORAGE RATIO

An HD-SDI camera will only work with an HD-SDI DVR, so if you’re upgrading you will need a DVR as well as cameras.

HD-SDI footage can’t travel as far as an analogue signal. We recommend a maximum cable run of 100m, which can be extended with a repeater.

Because HD-SDI captures 1080p HD footage, you will need more storage than with the equivalent analogue system

HD-SDI footage is in 16:9 ratio, so you will need to consider a monitor that displays in 16:9 ratio.

The Videofied range by RSI Video Technologies just got better, with the launch of this new colour motion viewer with unobtrusive design, making it perfect for domestic and small business premises

If you’ve not seen Videofied before, it is a wireless intruder alarm system, with built-in cameras. When an intruder enters a location secured by Videofied, the system sends a 10-second video clip to a monitoring station to show what triggered the alarm. Operators can then call the police if required.

The AIR range (Advanced Infra Red) by Concept Pro already

included a very high level of specification as standard, and

we’ve now improved the AIR 45 and AIR 50 long range cameras.

On all of the cameras below, you now have the option to switch

off the integral IR illuminators.

This gives you an advantage on installations where you may

prefer to use external illumination – for example, in order to

achieve BS8418 compliance for a system. Now, you can simply

switch the IR illuminators off. This upgrade now applies to all of

the cameras below.
