Family

Family is the basic unit of society.

They come in many shapes and sizes.

Definition of Family

According to the American Heritage Dictionary, a

family is defined as:

A group of persons sharing a common ancestry

All the members of a household under one roof.

Types of Families

Remember, your parents have lived longer than you – don’t discount their experience and

knowledge.

2. Communicate- Let parents know what is going on in your life. If

you keep the in the dark, they can’t help you and they might feel like they are lying to them

- Seek their advice for problems (you don’t have to take it)

3. Build Trust- Trust is your key to freedom- Must be honest and responsible to build

trust

When your parents trust you, it’s a lot easier for the to say “Yes” to things you ask.
