Camera AnglesClose ups and extreme close-ups

I have used close ups as a main feature of my music video, it shows the intimate nature of the song, like the artist is letting you in to her personal life, the main type of close ups that I have used is a medium close-up. In most of the close-ups used the artist refuses to look directly into the camera, mainly because she is shy but also because it portrays the artist to have a difficulty letting people in. I used extreme close-ups to show lip syncing and also to further this idea of privacy and being up close in personal.

Camera AnglesOver the shoulder shots

I have used over the shoulder shots to show that the audience is a third party viewer, that they aren't allowed to see this side of the artist that even society isn't allowed to view. The over the shoulder shots aren't exceptionally conventional of a modern day music video, yet they are affective

EffectsI used effects through out my music video, apart from the obvious ones such as stabilisation and colour correction.

Vintage colour effect Fade in and Fade out Fade over

Personal Opinion• Good Points- Range of shots used- Expresses the point I wanted to convey- Camera stability• Bad Points- Quality, camera quality is not up to standard- Not enough footage as my actress refused to film anymore through lack of

commitment to the project- Not enough lip-syncing, mainly as my actress felt uncomfortable doing this- Colours, poor lighting

Overall, I believe if I had more time and an actress that was actually as committed to my project as I have been then I could of produced a much better video, the camera I had was of poor quality so this affected my overall outcome of my video. Personally, I think I could vastly improve my video if I started again with new ideas I've thought of towards the end of my project.
