While it is a definite improvement over 3G and is propelling more mobile video consumption, new research from the Citrix Mobile Analytics Report confirms that LTE is still a work in progress. Demand for mobile video is 1.5x greater over LTE than 3G. Top video sites differ regionally. The top sites by data volume globally are to the right. The Middle East and Asia Pacific experience the highest incidence of stalling, but even regions which lead LTE coverage still experience stalls. 5x more video data is consumed over LTE than 3G. Nobody watches instantly or without interruption, even on LTE.
