Verb Conjugation
There are three types of verbs in Spanish:
-ar, -ir, -er verbs
The last two letters of a verb determine the type of verb it is. For example, hablar is an AR verb because it ends in AR.

An infinitive or a whole verb is a verb that is NOT conjugated. It means “to” and the action. For example, hablar—in its INFINITIVE form—means “TO SPEAK”.

To conjugate a verb, first you must identify WHO is doing the action. Then you follow the steps below:
► DROP the ENDING (-AR, -ER, -IR)
► IDENTIFY THE STEM (EVERYTHING EXCEPT
THE -AR, -ER, -IR)
► ADD the correct SUBJECT PRONOUN ending
Singular Plural
1. yo ___-o____ 4. nosotros (as)
