We see green at Northwest, and you will too as you cheer on the Bearcats, some of the most competitive student-athletes in all of NCAA Division II.

Cheer on the Bearcats!

■n Athletic events (with the exception of playoff games) are free for all students to attend. Fill the stands and show your Bearcat pride!

■n Women’s NCAA sports include basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field and volleyball.

■n Men’s NCAA sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, tennis and track and field.

I love that there’s always a hello, a smile and a

friendly wave from fellow student-athletes, regardless of the sport they play. And academically, our coach makes sure we get the proper study hours and arranges extra help if we need it. We take pride in our accomplishments not only on the court, but in the classroom as well .

Living on campus has helped a lot in my transition to college. I’m close to all of my classes and to the library for any tutoring I may need,

and The Station is nearby so I can easily grab a bite to eat. Living in a residence hall has allowed me to get a real feel for college, and I think the friends I’ve made there are ones I’ll keep for a long time.
