I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm. Ugh Monday, I got up and ran my fingers through my blonde curly hair while walking to the bathroom to wash up. When I came out of the bathroom I glanced at the clock,"7:50! I have to be in school by 8:00!I dug through my closet for something to wear, I finally settled on a white lace shirt with black skinny jeans. I ran down stairs to get something to eat before leaving"Honey you’re going to be late!" my mom said while flipping an omelet.

"I know! I lost track of time!"

"Do you want an omelet to go?"

"No thanks mom." I laughed planting a kiss on her cheek.

"Ok bye! Have fun!"

"Bye!" I grabbed a banana and hurried out the door. School was only two blocks away so I walk.

"Katie! Wait up!" This voice seemed too familiar. When I turned around I saw Harry.

"Harry!" I ran up to him and hugged him tight.

Harry POV.

"Harry!" I heard Katie squeal. She ran up to me and gave me the best hug ever! I knew to her we were only friends, but she meant so much more to me.

"We are late!" she said releasing me from one of the best hugs I had ever gotten.

"We are always late! I laughed.

I walked her to her first period and said "I'll wait by your locker so we can walk to the bakery together." I gave her a wink and hurried to my class.

Katie's POV.

I smiled at the sight of his curls bouncing as he jogged to his class. This was the first time I had ever had a feeling that I might like him more than a friend. No! I can't let myself fall in love with him. We knew each other for 3 years, we're practically best friends!

When the last bell rang to release us, I saw Harry right where he said he would be.

"Hey love, you ready to go to work?" He said smiling.

"I'm going to be with you, of course I am!" I said smiling back. And we walked to the bakery in silence.

Harry POV.

"I'm going to be with you, of course I am!"My heart skipped a beat when the words came out of her mouth. It took all the strength in my body not to just kiss her. I didn't know what to say so I just started our trip to the bakery.

When we got to the bakery I heard Marley, the sweet old lady who runs the bakery, come to greet us.

"Oh it's my two favorite kids in the world! Come on go get you're aprons on its been a busy day!"

Chapter 2

"El! Hey!" I squeaked as Eleanor walked through the bakery doors.

"Katie! Haha so why don't you do me a favor and make me a fresh batch of cupcakes?"

"You got it! Let me go make the batter I'll be right out."

I grabbed a bowl, a whisk, and I went to grab the flour bag off the top shelf. As I pulled half the bag out I realized someone had bought a new bag and left it open. It was too heavy for me to carry and I got scared, the bag kept slipping more and more and I couldn't hold it any longer!

"HARRY! HARRY HELP!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.

"KATIE! What's wrong?" I heard Harry yell and the sound if his running footsteps got louder.

"The flour is too heavy and I can't ho--" I tried saying but when he came to grab the bag it fell on both of us.

"Wow.... I made a mess! Marley is going to kill me!" I whispered covered in flour.

"HAHAHAHA! Katie your fine! She won’t get mad." Harry said while throwing flower at me.

"I hope." I said throwing some back.

All of a sudden we are having a floor fight on the floor. I slipped on some flour and fell on top of Harry, we were laughing so hard it’s like the world had disappeared. That's when my blue eyes met his emerald

green eyes and locked on each other. I didn't know what to do; I liked him but didn't want to ruin our friendship.

"Hey what's going on in here!?" I have never been more relieved in my life to hear Marley’s voice. Harry instantly shot up and said,

"Hey Marley! Uh sorry about the mess, it was my fault I couldn't hold the bag. And when it fell on us we kind of had a flour fight... I'm so sorry! I'll clean it up and buy another bag of flour for you."

"Oh you young kids these days! You expect me to believe that a young strong man like you couldn't hold a bag of flour? Whatever it was its ok. Just clean it up quickly." And she walked out winking at me.

Harry's POV.

"HARRY! HARRY HELP!" Katie yelled.

My heart stopped. Why is she yelling for help? I ran to the kitchen in the back to see what was going on and saw her holding a bag of flour over her head. I went to go help her but once I got to her she dropped the flour. She looked worried so to cheer her up I threw a ball of flour at her and we ended up having a flour fight. She slipped on some flour and fell on me and our eyes met, I just stared at her beautiful blue eyes. Right when I was about to lean in to kiss her I heard Marley say

"Hey what's going on in here!?"I knew Katie was worried that Marley would be upset at her so I took the blame.

"Hey Marley! Uh sorry about the mess, it was my fault I couldn't hold the bag. And when it fell on us we kind of had a flour fight... I'm so sorry! I'll clean it up and buy another bag of flour for you." That was all I can think of at this point, I was still a little wound up by what just happened between Katie and I.

"Oh you young kids these days! You expect me to believe that a young strong man like you couldn't hold a bag of flour? Whatever it was its ok just clean it up quickly." She winked at Katie and I heard her giggle a little behind me. She is probably one of the cutest old ladies there is, aside from my grandmother of course.

"Why did you take the blame?" Katie said grabbing my wrist. I wanted to say so bad because I love you but I had to just say,

"Because I knew you were worried that she would get mad at you. Well I have to go buy another bag of flour so let’s clean this up fast!"

She just smiled and helped shovel the flour on the flour to the trash until it was all clean. I gave her a hug and left to buy the flour.

Katie's POV.

Wow that was breath taking I whisper while replaying what just happened in my head. Then I remembered that El was waiting for cupcakes. I dusted myself off and went to go talk to her.

"Woah! I didn't know making cupcakes was so messy!" El laughed

"It’s a long story! Can you keep a secret?"

"Oh god you’re pregnant!"

"No! I think I like Harry."

"Well you guys have been friends for a long time now are you sure you want to go down that path? But to be honest I think you guys would make a PERFECT couple!"

"That's what I'm worried about! I don't want to screw up our relationship! Oh El! What am I going to do! Wait? You and Louis were friends before you started dating, how is it going between you guys? The last time I talked to him was the day before yesterday and we had a strong argument about cats or dogs..."

"Just go with your heart! And things between Lou and I are great! I couldn't be happier!"

"What if he doesn't like me back? I can't take that kind of rejection! I love him he has always been there for me and I really don't want to mess up my relationship with him as friends!"

"No problem love! Louis and Harry are like brothers so I'll just ask Lou to ask him what he thinks of you, and I gotta go I promised I would meet Dani and Perri at the park with cupcakes. I'm going to have to tell them I didn't have time to get them. Haha!"

"Ok bye! And tell the girls I said Hi!

Chapter 3

El’s POV.

“Hey babe, can you do me a favor?” I asked Louis. I don’t know why I was so nervous but I was.

“Yea anything for you love, what’s up?”

“Well Katie likes Harry but doesn’t want her feelings to get to strong if he doesn’t like her back so… I was wondering if you could ask him since you two are really close.”

“I am almost positive he does! Don’t you see the way he looks at her? And last week at lunch he spent 15 minutes going on how her hair shines in the sun. It kind of reminded me of when I had a crush on you. But I will ask him just to make sure, under one condition.”

“Aw! That’s so cute! He must really like her. And when you had a crush on me I knew, I just liked teasing you haha! So what’s your condition?”

“You have to give me a kiss.”

“No Problem!”He rapped his hands around my waist and pulled me in closer until there was no room left between us and gave me a passionate kiss that could have lasted forever, but I had to go.“It’s getting late. I have to go or my mom will start to worry.”

“Ok I’ll pick you up tomorrow at 7 for our dinner.”

“Ok I love you! Bye.”

“I love you to. Bye.”

Louis’s POV.

Harry’s POV.I was so excited to ask Katie out to the dinner with Lou and El I got up an hour early. I went straight to my closet and picked out a pair of dark blue of skinny jeans, a white button up shirt tucked in with a gray blazer. I brushed my teeth, ran my fingers through my hair and ran down stairs.

“Woah what’s the hurry?” My sister Gemma laughed.

“I’m just excited that’s all”

“You excited for school? Harry I’m not stupid, what are you up to?”

“Nothing, I have to go and find Katie though. Bye!” I left giving her a kiss on the forehead, and not letting her respond.It was only 7 and I knew that Katie won’t get to school until 8 or 8:30 so I decided to just wait by her locker.

El’s POV.

I was just waking up when my phone buzzed.

To: EleanorFrom: LouisMorning love, I told Harry to bring Katie as his date to our dinner tonight. I hope that’s ok?

To: LouisFrom: EleanorOmg! That’s was a perfect idea! I have to tell Katie to wear something nice today! I’m gonna text her now.

To: KatieFrom: ElKATIE! KATIE WAKE UP!

It took her a while before she answered, but she finally did ten dreadful minutes later.

To: EleanorFrom: KatieWhaaaaaat! I was sleeping!

To: KatieFrom: EleanorWell enough sleeping. Get up and make yourself really pretty! Trust me you won’t regret it!

To: EleanorFrom: KatieWhat? Why?

To: KatieFrom: EleanorJust do it! I have to go. Bye.

Katie’s POVWhy does El want me to look ‘really pretty’ today? I did as she said though. I wore a light pink dress that hugged my body nicely and dropped from my waist to about mid-thigh. I walked over to the bathroom and curled my hair and put on some makeup. Some mascara, eyeliner, foundation, blush, and a little white eye shadow to give my eye lids a nice shine. I looked at myself in the mirror and was happy with what I saw. I cleaned up my mess and went down stairs.

“Do you want eggs with your whoooaaahh!” My mother said while turning around to face me.

“Do I look good? El told me to look extra good today, but won’t tell me why.”

“Honey you look gorgeous! But I want Harry with you at all times! I don’t want any boys creeping in ok?”

“Hahaha ok mom, I have to go I want to see why I had to dress up today. I’ll just take a banana Bye!”

“Ok bye sweetie! Have fun!”

Harry’s POV.

As I waited by Katie’s locker for what had seemed like hours, but it was worth it when I saw Katie from afar walking over. She always looks beautiful, but today she had an extra glow.

“Katie you look stunning!” I managed to utter.

“Aw thank you love! I have to go find El I need to talk to her.” She said giving me a hug and walking

away.How did I let her leave!? God I’m so stupid! I guess I’ll just have to ask her to the dinner at lunch.

Candi’sPOV.

“Look at the little devil! Ugh I can’t stand her!” I exploded on Niall.

“Why Candi? She seems really sweet! Plus she’s HOT!”

“Oh would you shut up!? Harry is all over her and she’s just ignoring it! Why can’t he be in love with me!?”

“Calm down Candi! If you like him so much why don’t you go talk to him?”

“You know what!? Your right I’m going to talk to him now!”

“Women…” I heard Niall whisper under his breath, but I was to concentrated on what I wanted to do to go back and slap him.

I marched right up to Harry and said,

“Hi I’m Candi and would like to hang out sometime.”

“Well hello there Candi! I’m Harry. I actually can’t talk right now, I really have to go talk to a friend. It was lovely meeting you though!”

“ Oh ok. Ha bye.”I left not saying a single word after. I bet the person he needed to talk to was Katie! I have to get him to stop loving her! But how? I got it! If she’s taken then he will have to back away, and I knew the perfect guy to do it. Niall Horan.

Chapter 4

Louis’s POV.

“So Harry did you ask Katie to the dinner yet?” I curiously asked Harry in 3rd period.

“No not yet. I was all ready to until she showed up, El told her to dress up today for some reason and when she came….I kinda blacked out. She looked gorgeous!”

“Dude you know how the guys at this school are with girls. So go find her and ASK HER OUT!”

“I know. I know! The next time I see her is lunch, I’ll just ask her then.”

“Yea you better…!”

“Mr. Tomlinson! What have we said about talking in class! ” I heard Mrs. Rodríguez say.

“Sorry Mrs. Rodríguez, it was important.”

“Next time wait ‘till after class.”

Harry’s POV.

I was so nervous about asking Katie out to the dinner that I didn't pay attention to any of my classes. All I could think about was what she would say. What I would say. When lunch finally came around I was anxiously looking for Katie. I couldn't find her anywhere, until I heard her adorable laugh come from

behind me. My stomach instantly began to churn as I realized what I was about to do. I took in a deep breathe straightened my collar and walked ever so smoothly to her.

“Hey can I talk to you for a minute?” I said trying to keep my voice from cracking.

“Sure Hazz what’s up?”

“Well Katie, we have been friends for 3 years and I have enjoyed being your best friend for the longest, but I realized that I like you more than that. Every time you walk by my heart skips a beat. When you were yelling in the bakery yesterday my heart fell, thinking someone was hurting you and was ready to fight for you. You are very special to me Katie and I want to know if you would like to come to dinner with me Lou and El. But I want you to come as my date, not my friend.” I let it all out at once, I couldn't take the feeling of not knowing anymore.

“Wow Harry…Uhh to be completely honest with you, I really like you to, and not as a friend. I didn’t know if you even thought about me that way. I would absolutely love to come to dinner with you. As your date.” She kissed me lightly on the cheek and left to go sit with the girls who were listening and paying very close attention at everything that just happened.

I’m glad they liked us as a couple; it means so much to me that my friends accept who I dated. I guess it wasn't hard for them since we were all good friends before.

Candi’s POV.

“Niall listen to me, and listen good. I need to win over Katie’s heart and have her fall in love with you, because I won’t let Harry fall deeper in love to where he asks her out.”

“I think you’re too late. Harry just asked her to go to dinner with her like 10 minutes ago and she said yes.”

“UGHHHHH what does he see in her! She doesn't deserve him, I DO! I’m going to do anything to get him away from her and with me. Here’s what I want you to do, go find out what restaurant they are going to.

We are going to be there.”

“Don’t you think that’s a little creepy?”

“Not at all! I’ll pretend like I was casually coming to eat when you distract Katie with anything I really don’t care what happens to her, then I’ll go and kiss Harry! Once I do he will realize that he belongs with me.”

“Candi we are not in a Disney movie!”

“I don’t care. It will work! Just go do what I told you!”--------------------------------------------------Later that day-------------------------------------------------------

Tori’s POV.

I thought the way Harry asked Katie out was so cute! They really make a nice couple, even though I did like Harry for what seemed forever, I didn't mind. It’s just time for me to move on I guess. I have to keep reminding myself that just because Harry was my neighbor and we hang out a lot doesn't mean he likes me. Feeling a little down I texted Adrianne.

To: AdrianneFrom: ToriWanna come over?

To: LeilaFrom: AdrianneYea I’ll be there in 10.

Adrianne always made me feel better when I was down so I figured why not have her come over?

Adrianne’s POV.

I was getting ready to go to Tori’s when my phone rang.

“Hello?”

“Hi babe it’s Niall.” Niall Horan? Why was he calling me?

“Niall how’d you get my number?”

“I have my way to get to things I need.” I felt my mouth tug into a smile at that remark. Niall was one of the best football jocks in school. And every girl had a crush on him, I too am guilty of it.

“And why do you need my number? And make it quick I’m getting ready to go to Tori’s.”

“Perfect. I’ll meet you there.” And he hung up.

Why does he want to meet me there? Him and his Irish accent always drive me into a haze! I don’t know why I liked him so much, but I did. I finished getting ready and drove to Tori’s house a few streets away. When I pulled up in her drive way I saw Niall car. Crap! I forgot to tell Tori that he’s coming! She probably opened the door in her pajamas and is now going to kill me.

Tori’s POV.

I was making popcorn when the doorbell rang. That’s weird Adrianne usually just walks in? I didn't think about it too much though. I went to open the door, but instead of seeing my best friend I found Niall.

“Niall? What are you doing here?”

“You know you surprisingly look hot in your messy bun and pj’s”

“Shut up! I’m serious. Why are you here?” I asked as he made himself comfortable on my couch.

“I told Adrianne I’ll meet her here like 5 minutes ago. She should be here any minute.”

“Why didn’t she tell me you were coming?”

“I must have left her speechless with my hotness.”

“You’re so full of it!” I laughedJust then Adrianne fell through the door.

“Hi guys.” Adrianne said awkwardly.

“Hi… Did you know Niall was coming?”

“It may have come up… Yes….”

“You should have told me! I opened the door in my pajamas.”

“Hey like I said before I think you look hot.” Niall laughed in the background.

“Shut it Niall.”

“Niall why are you here anyway?” Adrianne asked.

“Good question love, I came to see if you knew where Harry was tonight.”

“Oh he’s at the restaurant on main street. But he’s on a date with Katie.” I smiled trying not to show that I was hurt.

“Thanks. I’m leaving but I’m taking the popcorn…”

“See ya.”

“Bye.”

Niall POV.As soon as I left Tori’s house I called Candi.

“I know where they are. You sure you want to do this?”

“Yes I’m sure! Now tell me where they are!”

“They are at the restaurant on Main Street. But---“She didn’t let me finish. I don’t want her to break them up, but if I don’t do what she says then she’ll tell everyone my secret.

Chapter 5

Harry's POV.

I was so nervous walking into the restaurant with Katie felt like fainting. I have never been so nervous with a girl before! But Katie makes me feel like butterflies are erupting in mystomach, like the world is blowing up and she is the only thing that matters.

"Harry you ok man? "Louis asked while patting me on the back.

"Not really. I'm so nervous, I don't want to screw this up."

"Your fine! Just calm down, and when the waiter seats us ask for some water and relax."

"Ok. Thanks for having my back Lou."

"No problem. I'll always be here for you."

Tori's POV.

"So how did Niall end up meeting you here?" I asked Adrianne curiously.

"Well when I was getting ready he called me with his adorable accent. He said 'Hey babe it’s Niall'. Tori I almost DIED!"

"Aw! Sweetie! You really like this guy huh?"

"Yea, a lot! But it really doesn't matter, a guy like him would never even take a second glance at me. Plus he has half the schools girls fawning over him."

"That's not true! You are beautiful, funny, sweet, and super fun to be around! No get up we are doing some karaoke!"

"Haha ok, and thank you! By the way, where are your parents?"

"They renewed their vows so they went on their second honeymoon to Hawaii."

"Oh my god. Tori you have to throw a party!"

"No. I'm not doing that! If you want to have a party we can do it someplace else, just nothere."

"Oh come on! Why not?"

"Because! If we have a party there's going to be alcohol and I don't want anything to go wrong or my parents won’t trust me to stay home by myself! By the way the karaoke is ready so come on."

"Fine, my parents are to a business trip to Florida next month. We'll just have it then!"

"Haha ok count me in."

Candi's POV.

"Ok so we are going to stake out here until they come out, you’re going to go to Katie and pretend that she left something. So when she goes back I'll come and talk to Harry. I'll pretend to fall and have him catch me, and that’s when I kiss him!"

"Whatever Candi. Let’s just get this over with."

Katie's POV.

Wow. This date is going amazing! Harry is such a gentlemen, I really like him. I really think this is a start to an amazing relationship.

"This was great. I'm having a lot of fun." I say as we leave the restaurant.Just then Harry grabs my wrist and pulls me aside.

"Katie. I know this is our first date but I want you to know that I really like you and praying to god that there will be many more dates like this. You are my everything and I was so happy when you told me you liked me back at lunch. You make me feel like I want to wake up every morning every day and be the reason you smile."We were almost outside at his point and I was absolutely speechless.

" Wow, Harry I'm so happy you like me that much. To be honest I---" I was cut off by a young man telling me I had forgot something back at our table.

"I'll meet you outside." I said to Harry and walked toward the blonde boy.

Harry's POV.

I waited outside for Katie to come out when Candi came to greet me.

"Harry! What are you doing here?"

"Hey Candi! I was just----"

She tripped on her heel, and I caught her right before she hit the ground. I was practically carrying her when she leaned in and kissed me. At first I went kind of blank but then I kissed her back. I don't know what the hell made me do that, but I did.

Katie's POV.

"Is this your phone? The boy asked.

"Oh know it's not. You should take it to the lost and found. Thank you though!"

"Yes. I will do that!"

I walked out the front doors of the restaurant and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Harry kissing a girl. He was almost carrying her, and full on kissing. It was only our first date, yet I felt so betrayed. My eyes tearing I walked over to him.

"H-Harry?" I choked.He instantly shot up.

"Katie...Oh.My.God. I'm so sorry! This is not what is looks like I promise! It’s just a misunderstanding!"

It had started to rain outside, I was cold, but nothing can beat the pain I felt in my heart.

"Don't talk to me Harry. I can’t believe you did that! What happened to all the stuff you said inside?! I really liked you Harry! You jerk!" I managed to say in between sobs.

"Katie just let me explain!" Harry yelled following me. I began to walk home, in the cold rain. I was freezing but didn’t care, I couldn't ride in a car with him. Not now.

"Katie its cold out and you don't have a sweater! Please let me drive you home!"

"No Harry! Leave me alone!"

"At least take my jacket. Please Katie just take it."

I took his jacket willingly since I was so freezing. He put it on me and just stood there in the rain and watched me walk away crying my heart out.

Harry's POV.

"H-Harry" I heard Katie say.My heart stopped. I knew I had screwed up big time. What am I going to do? What am I going to say?

"Katie...Oh.My.God. I'm so sorry! This is not what is looks like I promise! Its just a misunderstanding!"What. It’s not what it looks like. What kind of bull is that? I am officially the stupidest man alive.

"Don't talk to me Harry. I can’t believe you did that! What happened to all the stuff you said inside?! I really like you Harry! You jerk!" My heart ached with pain. I didn't mean to kiss Candi!

"Katie just let me explain!" I pleaded hoping she would but knowing she won’t...

"Katie its cold out and you don't have a sweater! Please let me drive you home!"

"No Harry! Leave me alone!"

"At least take my jacket. Please Katie just take it."She took it willingly. I placed it over her perfectly shaped shoulders that I knew I wouldn't be able to hold ever again, and she left. I just stayed in my place watching as she walked away from me and out of my life. I just wanted to curl up into a ball and disappear from this world entirely. Watching the one girl that I had ever love. The one girl who made me smile. The one girl who made me want to wake up in the morning. Fade away into the rain.

Chapter 6

Niall's POV.

I watched as Katie walked away crying. I did that, I looked over to see Candi's reaction but she was gone. I guess she actually felt bad for them and couldn't take it anymore. I knew that I couldn't take the horrible feeling inside me from watching Katie and Harry fight. So I got in my car to get away from this mess. The only place I had to go was Candi's house since I was staying there now, but I just couldn't see her now. Not after what she made me do.I drove around town for about an hour, circling the same streets over and over again until I found myself in front of Tori's driveway. What am I doing here? I had no idea why the hell I had come to Tori's house, but I decided to get down. I checked my car mirror to make sure I looked ok, I didn't. My eyes were puffy, and my nose was pink, from me crying the whole time I was in the car. I wiped my tears away and got out of the car. I honestly didn't care how I looked in front of Tori and Adrianne. They are just so sweet and understanding. I walked up the front steps and was hesitant to ring the doorbell until I heard the girls laugh really hard and loud. It made me smile, ringing the doorbell without even thinking.

Adrianne's POV.

Tori and I were watching the movie “The Heat” with Sandra Bullock when we heard the doorbell ring.

It's almost 11 who could that be? I just thought Tori had ordered pizza and forgot to tell me. I went to open the door and found a puffy eyed, pink nose Niall.

"Oh my god Niall! What happened?" I questioned in concern.

"It's a long story. Can I come in?"

"Yea. Of course!"

And opened the door wider.

“Whats wrong??” I heard Tori straighten up as I locked the front door

“I really don't want to talk about it, just play the movie so I can forget.”

I didn't want to pressure him, but it sounded serious. I shared a quick look with Tori when the look in her eyes said not to question.

Niall's POV.

When Adrianne didn't question me, I was relieved. I didn't want to talk about what had brought me here.

"I'll go make the popcorn." I said to the girls while getting up to the kitchen.

"I'll help!" Tori said while following.

“So what movie are you guys watching?” I asked

“The heat, it’s so funny!”

“I’ve heard about it! Everyone says it is. And uhh Tori… Do you think I can spend the night?”

“Yea sure, the couch pulls out to a bed.”

"Thanks. You really saved me."

"From what?"

“I'll explain in the morning."

"Ok. Come on before Adrianne starts the movie without us! Grab the popcorn!"I grabbed the popcorn as Tori pushed me to the couch and sat me next to Adrianne.

Tori's POV.

As Niall and I walked to the couch, I pushed him so he has no choice but to sit next toAdrianne. I knew how much she liked him and was hoping he liked her back.

From: ToriI dare you to rest your head on Niall's shoulder. :DI texted Adrianne so he didn’t hear.

Adrianne's POV.

I was watching the movie until I felt my phone vibrate.

To: AdrianneFrom: ToriI dare you to rest your head on Niall's shoulder. :D

Does she really think I would do that!?

To: ToriFrom: AdrianneWHAT?! Are you crazy!!!!

To: AdrianneFrom: ToriHey a dare is a dare. Remember… :)When she said she will get me back, she really meant it. I didn't know what to say.

To: ToriFrom: Adrianne...Fine...

I waited a while, when Tori nudged me with her elbow reminding me of what I had to do. I looked at her and she smiled, that’s basically her way of saying ' I got you!’ So I moved my hair out of my face and put my head on his shoulder. My heart was pounding. We didn't know each other that well! What if he pushes me off? I didn't know what to do so I just played it cool and continued to watch the movie. A while after I had fallen asleep, still on his shoulder. I felt him move my head to his lap and Tori move my feet from the floor onto the couch. I was now in a laying position and was surprisingly comfortable. I then fell into a deeper sleep. I woke up to someone softly shaking my arm.

"The movie is over love" He smiled.I didn't know what to say so I smiled back. I guess he noticed that I was so tired, because I felt him carry me to Tori's bed since he was going to use the pull out couch.

"Thank you." I whispered.

"Any time. “He whispered back.

-------------------------------------------The Next Morning---------------------------------------------------

Niall's POV.

I woke up early and began to make breakfast for the girls; it was the least I can do for them letting me spend the night. I didn't want to go back to Candi's house, I just couldn't.

"Morning!" Adrianne said yawning.

"Good Morning” I smiled

"What are you making? It smells really good!"

"Thanks! I just made omelets for everyone. You should go wake up Tori."

"Yum! Haha and I don't have to wake her up; she'll just smell it and come to the kitchen."We laughed at the sight of Tori entering the kitchen with her pajamas, messy hair and all.

"I smell food. What did you guys make?" She yawned.

"Omelets. I made you one, come eat it before it gets cold." I said stuffing my mouth with another bite.

"Let me just go wash up first. I look like a mess!" she laughed.

Adrianne's POV.

I was having so much fun with Niall spending the night and all, but I wanted to know what upset him so much to bring him here.

"Niall?"

"Yes?"

"When you got here, you were crying. Why?"

"Nothing. I wasn't crying."

"Niall I’m serious, what made you so upset that you came here?"

"I broke up Katie and Harry with Candi last night.."

"What? Why!?"

"Candi made me ok! I’m not proud of it so just let it go!" He yelled.

"How the hell did she make you Niall?! I can't let this go, how do you think Tori would take this? You know that Harry and Tori are close friends! And here’s another surprise, he lives next door!" At this point we were both yelling at each other. I didn't like yelling at him, but what he did was wrong.

"Whoah! What's going on in here?" Tori said hurrying in from the other room.

"Why dont you ask Niall I’m sure he'll tell you just fine! “I said throwing my hands up in the air.

"Niall. What is going on?"

"I-I helped break up Harry and Katie... I know it was wrong so you don’t have to lecture me ok."

"YOU DID WHAT?! Why did you do that!?"

"Candi made him." I said mocking his voice.

“Yea she did. She told me to act as if Katie forgot her phone at the table while Candi goes and kisses him outside.”

" Oh god... You must be kidding me. I'm going over to Katie's to see how she is feeling."

"I thought you said Harry lives next door?" Niall questioned.

"Yea but Katie is a GIRL. She is probably in bed drowning in her own tissues. I'll be back soon. “Tori answered quickly.

"Ok bye." I waved.

"Bye."

Tori's POV.

When Niall told me he broke up Katie and Harry, my heart sank. They looked so happy together. The way he asked her to dinner at lunch was so perfect. Poor Katie, I didn’t know what I was going to tell her when I got to her house.Once I got to her house her mom opened the door.

"Tori! I haven’t seen you in a while!"Mrs. Mayfield exclaimed.

"Yea, I really need to talk to Katie. Is she home?"

"Oh dear. She has been in bed all day and doesn’t want to tell me why."

"I figured. Can I come in?"

"Yes of course! Katie is right upstairs."

"Thank you."I walked straight to Katie's room knocking on her door slowly. But she didn't answer."Katie it's me Tori, and I know what happened. I want to talk." I said trying to convince her.Next thing I know she is opening the door and falling back on her bed. I walked in and shut the door behind me.

"How are you love?"

"Terrible." she groaned.

"Sweetie do you want to talk about it?"

"What is there to talk about? I let myself have feelings for my best friend and look were it ended up. All those movies are LIES."

"Katie, there has to be a reason he did that! I mean I have known him ever since he moved in next door to me, and we became close friends. The Harry I know would never do that."

"And that's what makes it worse! It's like he meant to humiliate me!"

"Ok Katie relax! He has been your best friend for 3 years! 2 weeks ago if someone told you that Harry poured his feelings out to a girl and then kiss another outside to humiliate her, would you believe it!?"

"To be honest Tori, No."

"Ok so why are you here and not trying to figure out what happened last night."

"Yea, your right. I’m ganna go over to Harry's now, can you drive me?"

"Yay! That's more like it!"

"Wait, but Tori I haven’t told anyone. How did you find out?"I was silent for a while.

"Niall told me."

"Niall? Who is Niall?"I took a deep breath before replying.

"He is the boy who pretended you left your phone."

"That was fake!? God why would he do that?"

"He said Candi made him."

"Made him? How? Does she have something on him? And who is Candi?"

"I don’t know I left to come see you once he told me. And Candi is.... Candi is the girl Harry kissed."

"Wow just by the looks of it, this Candi girl seems like a complete phyco!"

"Yea she's the school's head cheerleader, so she thinks she can get everything she wants. And in this case it was Harry."

"Yea well not any more. He's mine and I won’t let her take him from me."

"Haha! Ok. Come on let's get going."

We rushed to my car to go to Harry's. As soon as we got there I could tell Katie was nervous, but I just let her have her space. When we rang the doorbell his mother answered.

"Katie! Tori! Hi!"

"Hi Mrs. Styles, umm can we talk to Harry?"

"Harry? I thought he was with you guys? He never came home last night."

Chapter 7

Katie's POV.

My heart almost stopped, I felt like I couldn't breathe. Why didn't Harry come home last night?! I felt my knees get weak and I felt very light headed. I heard the distant sound of Tori andMrs. Style’s concerns. All of a sudden I felt myself fall over and blackout.

Tori and Mrs. Styles must have carried me in because when I woke up I was on a couch.

"Hey sweetie, how do you feel?" Tori said quietly.

"What happened?"

"You passed out about 10 minutes ago."

"Oh wow. My head is killing me! Can I have an aspirin please?"

"Yes, one sec let me go grab one."Tori left to go grab me some aspirin and I just sat there examining Harry's house. I have been here so many times, but it seemed so different now. Like I have never been here before. Until I saw a picture of Harry and I framed on the wall. All the warm memories and feelings for this place rushed back in. Oh my god. I forgot about Harry! He didn't come home last night, and we have to go find him.

"Here is your aspirin." Tori said smiling.

"Thanks Tor." I replied while swallowing the pill.

"So what do you want to do? Do you think that you might know where Harry is?" Tori asked.

"I want to get going now. I think I do know where Harry is."

"Oh Great! Ok where?" Tori questioned while helping me up.

"Well, when Harry gets upset he likes to go to the bowling alley on Chestnut Rd. He's friends with the bartender so he gives Harry free drinks."

"Oh no....Do you think Harry drank last night and was too drunk to drive?" Tori whispered so Mrs. Styles won’t hear.

"I don’t know, but now I'm worried. Let's get going."We thanked Mrs. Styles and left her house going straight to the bowling alley. The whole way there my heart was beating so hard I thought it might pop out of my chest. I didn't know where he was. Harry tends to do some crazy things when he's upset and I couldn’t stop worrying.

Once we got to the bowling alley I practically jumped out of the car before Tori even parked. When we got into the alley I ignored everything and went straight to the bar.

"Evin have you seen Harry??"

"Yea, he grabbed a couple drinks and left. Those drinks were strong though, when he left I thought he called you to pick him up."

"Why did you see him on a phone?" Tori added.

"Yes, right before he left he called someone and made an arrangement for them to pick him up. He seemed like he was in a mess! What happened?"

"Who did he call?! It’s a long story, but we need to find him. He didn’t come home last night."

"Well I over heard him say something about two guys named Liam and Zayn."

"Oh Thank God!" I exclaimed."

"He should be safe then. Im going to call them to see where they are now." Tori said while stepping away from all the commotion. After all we were in a bowling alley.

Tori's POV.

I stepped away from all the noise dialing Liam’s number, it rang four times before someone picked up.

“Hello?” A man said on the other line.

“Liam is that you?”

“Yes, Tori what is it?”

“Is Harry with you? He didn’t go home last night.”

“No I remember him drunk dialing Zayn and I last night, but that’s all I’ve heard from him.” Liam voice sounded more alert now.

“Oh well thanks. If you come across any new information let me know.”

“I’m going to go out and look around for him now. You be safe ok?”

“Ok Liam don’t worry. Katie is with me.”

“Ok so both of you BE CAREFUL! And let me know if anything happens!”

“Ok we will… Thanks Liam…. For caring.”

“No problem.” I heard the phone line cut off on the other end, so I just walked back to Katie.

Niall’s POV.

I felt horrible about what had happened this morning, but I didn’t know what to do. When Tori left I wanted to go with her, but I figured that was girl stuff. It was almost 4pm now and she still wasn’t back, I was starting to get worried.

“Hey Adrianne… I’m really sorry about what happened this morning. When I came last night I didn’t know why I had come I was just here. I guess somewhere deep down inside I knew you guys can cheer me up… and you did the second I walked in.”

“Niall…” Adrianne said grabbing my hand.

“I’m not upset that you did that, well I am but I’m more upset that your excuse was ‘Candi made me’. How can a 5’3 twig of a girl make you do something?”

“You just don’t understand! It’s so much more complicated than it looks” I said feeling the rims of my eyes fill with tears.

“Just tell me! I will understand, I care about you and you obviously have a problem that needs to be fixed!”

“N-No. No. I can’t. I can deal with it on my own. Plus I came to talk about Tori, she’s been gone for too long and I’m starting to worry.”

“Ok just know that I’m always here to help! And so is Tori, I’ve known her for as long as I can remember and she never ever had a problem helping people! And I’m worried about Tori too, I’m ganna call her cell.”

“Thanks . And yes call her!”

Adrianne’s POV.

I waited as the phone rang. The more it rang the faster I pased.

“Hello?” Tori said on the other line.

“Oh Thank Goodness!” I said with Niall pushing me to put it on speaker.

“Adrianne? Is that you?”

“Yes and Niall!”

“Guys I’m really busy. We are trying to find Harry, he never got home last night after his date with Katie.”

“Oh wow! Do you need help?” I said. “I don’t care what she says I’m going out there and helping! Where are you?” Niall shouted.

“That would be great guys! Liam is also helping; I’m at the bowling alley on Chestnut Rd. I’ll wait for you here.”

“Ok we’ll be there in 5 bye.”

“K bye.”

Tori’s POV.

“Katie… Umm I need to let you know something…”

“Yea what’s up?”

“Well remember who Niall is?”

“Yea the guy who was in on the plan to break me and Harry up. The guy who helped gets

Harry in this situation! What about him?”

“Well he… he’s coming to help find Harry.”

“I-I don’t know what to think. Why does he want to help?”

“Katie, he feels really bad about it…”

“Ok I guess the more people the better.”We waited for Adrianne and Niall for about 20 min. Until they finally rushed through the door.

“Hey sorry we’re late, they were fixing up an accident and the road was backed up.”

“Oh no…. You don’t think…”We all glanced at each other and ran out the door. I followed Niall’s car to where the accident was and ran down to see if what we thought was right.

Katie’s POV.

I ran past everyone to see if Harry was there. I was taken aback at the sight in front of me. It was Harry with a bloody face stuck in a car crashed on the side of the road. It was like my whole word had collapsed on top of me. I walked up to Harry falling on the ground ignoring the broken glass piercing my skin. I cupped his face with my right hand and balled his shirt in my left hand crying my heart out.

Tori’s POV.

We rushed up to the accident, Katie beating us there. Once I saw who was in the accident, I covered my mouth with my hand and fell. Thankfully Niall was there to catch me. He pulled me up hugging me tight rubbing my back ignoring the fact that I was soaking his shirt with my tears. After 10 minutes of crying I remembered I had to call Liam. I dialed his number waiting for him to answer, crying again to what I had to say to him.

“Tori? Is everything ok? Why are you crying!? Tori! Answer me! You’re scaring me!”

“H-Harry was in a car accident and is passed out in his car.”

We called the ambulance and they rushed Harry to the hospital. I prayed that he would be okay, and as the time passed he was.

He had a couple broken bones and some bad cuts but in the end he was as good as new.

Katie and Harry had talked everything over and are now the cute little couple that they should have been a long time ago.

Niall and Adrianne became a quick couple living life together, and as for me… Well I guess I’ll go where the wind blows me.
