Pressemitteilung Starline provides optimized SSD cache firmware for TopRAID M100/M300 With the new TopRAID firmware, data can be moved much quicker into the cache on the TR-M100/M300 systems. So far data blocks on the M100/M300 systems have been moved in the SSD cache (L2 cache) only when they were requested for the third time. Thus it took a relatively long time until the often requested blocks were delivered directly from the SSD cache. In the M110/M310 systems this so-called Reference-Count can already be changed via the Command Line Interface (CLI). From firmware version 087G, it is now also possible with the M100/M300 systems to change Reference-Count by CLI. If a block is already moved during the first access to the SSD cache, this fills much faster and the performance already increases in the first hour. Within an hour, the performance increases significantly. New Support Area: On www.topraid.com/support/ a support area was set up for customers. There, customers can register and selectively get access to the products they bought. In addition to the firmware and software, there are also all current manuals for download. The access to the Manual is free for all registered customers. Availability: If you already have an SSD cache license, you can download the firmware enhancements after registration for free on www.TopRAID.com . If you do not have SSD Cache license yet, we are happy to advise you on [email protected] Seite: 1

Starline provides optimized SSD cache firmware for TopRAID M100/M300

With the new TopRAID firmware, data can be moved much quicker into the cache on the TR-M100/M300 systems.

New Support Area:On www.topraid.com/support/ a support area was set up for customers. There, customers can register and selectively get access to the products they bought. In addition to the firmware and software, there are also all current manuals for download. The access to the Manual is free for all registered customers.

Availability:If you already have an SSD cache license, you can download the firmware enhancements after registration for free on www.TopRAID.com. If you do not have SSD Cache license yet, we are happy to advise you on [email protected] or +497021 487200. TopRAID systems are available from Starline.
