Renaissance Hall of Fame Project LT: Who was an influential figure in the Renaissance and Scientific Revolution and how did they shape a new world view? Go online and open a word doc—fix the margins so that you can maximize everything: .3” top and bottom, .5” sides left and right. 1. Pick a person of interest from the Renaissance who had impact on at least one the following areas: Artistic Political *** Economic*** Scientific*** Social /Cultural 2. Find primary sources --quotes (2) --images (2 of these minimum) --information (need 3 of these minimum-- to find honest information) HOW TO SET UP YOUR PAGE: 1 .Your 1 st page will include a timeline of birth to death with accomplishments/failures and pictures. 2. Your 1 st page will also include at least two quotes or pieces of information which represent his beliefs. 3. On the backside of Hall of Fame you must write a two paragraph argument as to why he/she should be included in the “Hall of Fame.” HOW TO GET STARTED: Create your Hall of Fame mission statement to explain the purpose of your PAGE—feel free to use the LT. In your mission statement, explain the characteristics of the Renaissance, the impact of its shift in worldview, and how it helped spur the Scientific Revolution. You might also include its relevance to today. Inductee entries include an image of the person, their Date of Birth, Country of Origin, and a brief biography all included in a timeline of their accomplishments. Some Hall of Fames provide additional information and links, such as an image gallery linked to the Hall of Famer, an exhibit with images and artifacts from the period, or a library link for more information.***
