630-391-7200Village Update

The Village of Sugar Grove will begin replacing the water main along Annette’s Circle and Annette’s Lane in June 2019 followed by roadway improvements in the same locations. This work is anticipated to be completed by the fall of 2019.Through traffic and driveway access will be maintained during construction; however, minor delays and temporary lane and driveway closures should be expected. Similarly, since the water main and partial services are being replaced, there will be brief periods of disruption to water service as new connections are made to the existing water system and services are switched from the old main to the new main. These times and dates will be communicated to the residents as the schedule progresses. In addition, due to conflicts with other existing utilities, some tree removal may be required,

but it will be very limited (and avoided where feasible). Minor disturbances will also occur throughout the subdivision as various infrastructure components are repaired or replaced at locations to be determined. Visit sugargroveil.gov to view the location of the affected areas. Please contact Michele Piotrowski with Engineering Enterprises, Inc. with questions at 630-466-6700.

Keep Your Curb ClearWhen maintaining your

lawn this summer, please remember to not discharge

grass clippings into the street and gutter. Grass and

other debris can clog up stormwater drains and lead

to street flooding during rainstorms. Wet grass in the

street also poses a danger to motorcyclists.

Please help us maintain our stormwater infrastructure. If you notice a clogged

catch basin or drainage inlet, please contact Public Works

at 630-391-7230.
