Vin Diesel was born in New York City on 18 July 1967. He was raised by his astrologer/psychologist mother, Delora Sherleen (Sinclair), and adoptive father, Irving H. Vincent.

He never knew his

biological father. His mother is Caucasian

and his adoptive

father is African-

American.

Diesel and his girlfriend, the Mexican model Paloma Jimenez, have three children: a daughter called Hania Riley (born in April 2008), a son called Vincent Sinclair, (born in 2010), and a daughter called Pauline, (born in March 2015); the last one is named in honor of his friend and actor in Fast & Furious, Paul Walker, who died in November 2013.

Vin Studied Creative Writing in Hunter College, but abandoned after three years of career. By this period and because of his strong physique he worked as a bouncer in a disco.

Diesel began his cinematographic career as a director, actor and screenwriter in the beginning of the 90s.
