8. VASTERBO HARD CASH - Very consistent in recent months. Pleased behind Aron The Baron on French debut last Friday and although drawn wide can still finish in the mix
9. TANTALIO - Handy sort at home in Italy but flopped on Vincennes debut last week and must show marked improvement
10. HALVA VON HAITHABU - Ended last year on a high note and picked up where he left off and in the process beat his personal best. Not ideally drawn but one to note all the same
11. CAPRAIO - Respectable type that has been pleasing in Switzerland but is out of his depth here
12. UBIMAJOR BI - Hardy Italian raider that encouraged on comeback at Cagnes. Was not disgraced in a Class A over longer next time and could get a look in
13. UNIVERSO D'AMORE - Delicate but not short of ability. Surprised when fourth in a G.III at Enghien last time and will generate some interest
14. TRILLO PARK - One of the most consistent horses in the race and has form at the venue. Not the best draw but worth watching all the same
15. CLEMENZA AM - Has been on solid form over recent months. Was unable to express himself over course and distance last month. Not well drawn this time but still good enough to pick up a small cheque
16. TANO FOHLE SM - Pleased for the most part this year but sanctioned in last two here. Shoes back on and no threat
Summary (7) COACH FRANBLEU is the biggest earner of the lot here. He has been on flying form all season and despite the draw still has an ideal opportunity to impose. The in-form (6) TESAURO left quite the impression over the outer course three weeks ago and looks the principal challenger. (2) ARON THE BARON beat stablemate (8) VASTERBO HARD CASH on their respective French debut last week and the draw must favour the former once again. (3) ULTRA WIND BI boasts an exceptional record at Vincennes and although making his first start for over three months is barefoot for the occasion and could prove something of a spoiler.
Race 2 1. UN BON FILS - Not the worst horse in the race but has never made any impact at Vincennes and is not about to buck the trend
2. VALFLEURY - Faithful campaigner for the most part and gave a good account at La Capelle last weekend. Breaks from the front and appears to have a good hand to play
3. ARRIVAL DE GINAI - Made good improvement of late and most recently imposed over shorter at Enghien. On the front line but no more than a minor place chance
4. URRICANE WEST - Tends to give a good account in the provinces and although having pleased last time is shod here and can expect to find this a stiff test
5. ARAVIS ROC - Respectable dual-purpose type that usually gives his best. Has a decent record here and should not be overlooked
6. AGITATEUR - Delicate but otherwise relatively productive. First start for two months though and others preferred
7. VOICI A LA BRUYERE - Went into his break on a low note and has picked up where he left off. No threat
8. AGATHE DES RUETTES - Gives a good account for the most part when barefoot. Benefits from a front-row start and must be respected
9. ALF DE MELANDRE - Decent trotter but just his third start back and with shoes on will pose no danger
10. AUTEUR - Not the most productive horse in the field but posted his last decent result with Mottier in charge. Same driver here but a tough ask all the same
11. URANUS TEPOL - Good provincial trotter that made a solid comeback with shoes on. Barefoot this time and with Raffin at the helm can be assured a competitive drive
12. ASTRAL VIRETAUTE - Currently enjoying a good run of form and although seldom seen over the short course still looks a respectable minor place chance
13. ARIUS DU DOUET - Back at the top of his game with two straight wins including over the distance on the outer course. On the second line but a major player all the same
14. ULTIMO DU DOUET - No slouch on a good day but needs to improve on his recent thrashing at Lisieux
15. VOELAND - Not always the most reliable but is not short of merit and going unshod all four will do his prospects no disservice
16. ULHIOR DU BEZIAU - No longer the horse of old. Solidly beaten in his last four and can be passed over
17. ALAMO DU GOUTIER - Simply dynamic all year and particularly impressive in a difficult race here three weeks ago. Stays shod and should again figure prominently
18. UPMAN - Has been racing very modestly for some time and not a realistic proposition
Summary The talented (13) ARIUS DU DOUET is back at the top of his game and considering how well he won last time here must be considered a leading contender. He is sure however to be opposed by the ever-consistent (17) ALAMO DU GOUTIER whose recent Vincennes performance was nothing short of exceptional. The reinvigorated (2) VALFLEURY benefits from a 25m advantage and should be good enough to make the frame. Others to be considered include the in-form (12) ASTRAL VIRETAUTE, and front-line starter (8) AGATHE DES RUETTES who is unshod all four for the occasion.

3. VITTORIO DE CARLY - Consistent for the most part in this branch of the game. Steps up in class but should not be ignored
4. UPPERCUT DU HOULET - Has done nothing noteworthy all year and can be confidently written off
5. UGO ON WOOD - Talented but not the most dependable. Should be fit by now and with shoes off will be worth noting
6. ULKA DES CHAMPS - Decent mare in this specialty. Runner-up to Alienor De Godrel last time out and should again make her presence felt
7. ALIENOR DE GODREL - Seldom seen in this code but opened his account over the outer course in the Prix Georges Dreux last month when barefoot for the first time and can again make a big impact
8. VALSE DE REVE - Regularly acquits herself well but up against some good horses here and a minor place chance at best
9. ALPHA SALTOR - Has hardly set a foot wrong all year in this code. Is a course and distance specialist and with Eric Raffin on board looks a serious danger
10. ARLINGTON DREAM - By far the most talented trotter in the race. Can prove delicate but tries the inner course for the first time under the saddle and with application should have this in the bag
Summary Multiple group winner (10) ARLINGTON DREAM fell foul of stride problems late last month and takes to the inner course this time with a legitimate chance of picking up more black-type - provided he can keep his action together. He can nonetheless expect opposition from the ever-consistent (9) ALPHA SALTOR who has nothing to prove under these conditions. (7) ALIENOR DE GODREL beat (6) ULKA DES CHAMPS in the G.III Prix Georges Dreux last time. The former goes barefoot again and should again have the advantage.
Race 4 1. DUC DE CASTELLE - Struggling with stride problems but has ample talent and if applied can get back in the game
2. DUSTIN DES CHARMES - Has looked very ordinary this year and not expected to worry the opposition
3. DEFI DU JAAR - Has done nothing to disappoint since racing barefoot. Ideally-placed behind the car and must not be underestimated
4. DISCO DE TOUCHYVON - Twice pleased under these conditions and although making his comeback is unshod behind for the occasion and the draw can only enhance his prospects
5. DRUGSTORE - Can prove tricky but otherwise very solid. Has an excellent entry here and given his form looks the horse to beat
6. DREAM DU CHATELET - Hardy type that regularly acquits himself competitively. Not at his ease last time here and should make amends
7. DEFI CALENDES - Can prove delicate but still pleased here late last month. Races well in autostart events and must be afforded respect
8. DESIR DU GITE - Nothing noteworthy on his formsheet since last November and can be passed over
9. DAZIO BEST - Showed promise last year but has failed to confirm this season and must show marked improvement
10. DECLIC DU SOLEIL - Not particularly reliable but capable on a good day. Out of the picture in last four though and not in the reckoning
11. DIRTY LOVING - Has merit but not everyone's cup of tea. Is barefoot for the first time and looks an interesting place prospect
12. DERBY CASH - Has pleased for the most part since going without hind shoes. Was not disgraced here last month and could well make the first five
13. DELPHOS - Complicated but useful trotter. Tends to go better on flatter tracks and others preferred
14. DUSTY DE GUEZ - Has placed just once from four starting behind the car and latest results do nothing to inspire confidence

Summary (12) EGERIE DU VIVIER has just scraped her way into this race and given what she has shown to date looks the pick of the field. She will however be pitted against talented and improving stablemate (1) ELECTRA DU VIVIER who has hardly set a foot wrong so far. (4) EIRE D'HELIOS has looked very solid to date and can make amends for the poor luck she had here last time out. Just once out of the frame in six starts (10) ELOA D'OCCAGNES recently acquitted herself well in an Enghien Class C and makes her Vincennes debut with legitimate ambition.

9. DARLING QUEEN - Won three from seven in this category in the provinces and has earned her spot in this line-up. Minor place chance
10. DINKY BOY VISAIS - Sprang something of a surprise at Le Croise-Laroche late last month and a similar effort should see him in the thick of things
11. DATCHA DU DERBY - Pleased last year on her first claiming start here. Has not been firing on all cylinders recently but drops back in class with a moderate chance of getting a look in
12. DRILLING GRIFF - Not the most reliable but last good performance was over course and distance and will logically attract support
13. DAPHNE DE FAVEROL - Gives a good account for the most part in claimers. Not at her best last time but has had time to freshen up and should not be far off the mark

16. DORIA DE VAUVILLE - Faithful servant with nothing to prove in this category. Did not enjoy the best of luck last time but on good behaviour can

17. DREAM TURGOT - Moderate sort that has done nothing noteworthy since the winter and the handicap does nothing to improve his chances
Summary (16) DORIA DE VAUVILLE seldom disappoints at this level of competition. She was very unlucky here ten days ago but with an unfettered run can still win this from the second line. She can nonetheless expect to encounter resistance from claiming specialist (15) DUNE D'AVIGNERE who recently made a most convincing comeback at the venue. (12) DRILLING GRIFF gave a fine account last time over track and trip and if on form can make the first three. (13) DAPHNE DE FAVEROL also breaks from the front and despite her latest effort still looks in with a solid shout. 5. FILL UP AND GIN - Moderate filly that has placed just once from five and is unlikely to influence the result this time around
6. FIRST DES ANDIERS - Produced a courageous performance at Enghien earlier in the month and on similar form can challenge for a place in the frame
7. FEND LA BISE - Has looked very solid to date. Opened her account over the outer track here late August and returns fresh and with a solid place chance
8. FLY WITH US - Another fine filly from the Allaire powerhouse. Winner of both to date and latterly with ease over course and distance. The horse to beat
Summary (8) FLY WITH US has looked a very exciting prospect since her first steps on the track mid-August. She won easily over course and distance next time and is expected to maintain her perfect status.
