The ViNGTOr DeCT Cordless Analog & iP systems are integral parts of the following ViNGTOr ACM family:- ACM Analog system- ACM integrated Communication system- ACM Advanced integrated system

The DeCT cordless phones, intercom and analog telephones all have access to ACM services. Users will be able to benefit from full accessibility as well as seamless mobility.

The DeCT server 2500 & 8000 is a analog DeCT solution where it is possible to deploy wireless communication either in analog, siP VoiP, or a combination.

The iP DeCT 300 system provides radio coverage within a limited area supporting one single base station. To extend the radio coverage of the base station, up to 3 DeCT repeaters can be added.

The iP DeCT 6000 system provides wide area coverage. The system supports up to 256 base stations in a multi-cell system. To extend the radio coverage of a base station, the system utilizes repeaters. A DeCT repeater does not require any network connection except power. Zenitel has extensive experience with deployment in harsh environments and has developed special solutions for these areas, DeCT or Digital enhanced Cordless Telecommunications is a european standard for digital cordless phones.

The DeCT server 2500 & 8000 is a flexible

add-on solution. This system does not

require radio synchronization and is, in some

circumstances, the best solution in hazard-

ous environments where a lot of reflections

are present. For these two solutions, the only

requirement is one single twisted pair wire

from the exchange to each base station,

which makes it ideal for retrofitting.

2500 and 8000 is the number of slots for

The ViNGTOr Base station controls the traffic channels in the air and works as the link between the Handset and the iP DeCT server 6000. The iP DeCT server 6000 operates the ViNGTOr Base stations through standard ethernet Poe lAN cables (CAT5 or better).

each ViNGTOr Base station is con-nected to a 100 meter long leaky cable that covers a circular area of approximately 4 to 10 meters depending on the environment. The size of the coverage area depends on site specifics such as building mate-rials. Before installation, each site needs to be assessed to determine the number of base stations required to attain the desired coverage. The ViNGTOr Base station comes in a wall mounted version and is used with the iP DeCT server 6000.
