Have I ever repented of my sin & received Jesus’ gift of new life? If not, why not?
If so, have I ever publicly declared my faith in Jesus through baptism? If not, why not?
QUESTION OF THE DAY
…For all have sinned & fall short of the
glory of God.
ROMANS 3:23
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—& this is not
from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not
by works, so that no one can boast.
EPHESIANS 2:8-9
…Truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.
JOHN 3
SALVATION “The work of
salvation, in its full sense, is(1) about whole human beings, not merely souls, (2) about thepresent, not simply the future,
& (3) about what God doesthrough us, not merely
what God doesin us & for us.”
WHAT ARE WESAVED FROM?1. The bondage of our sin
She will give birth to a son, & you are to give Him
the name Jesus, because He will save His people
from their sins.
MATTHEW 1:21
WHAT ARE WESAVED FROM?1. The bondage of our sin 2. The price of our sin
But now that you have been set free from sin &
have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to
holiness, & the result is eternal life. For the wages of
sin is death, but the gift of God
is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
ROMANS 6:22-23
WHAT ARE WESAVED FROM?1. The bondage of our sin 2. The price of our sin
3. The ultimate end of our sin
For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them
to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for
judgment…then the Lord knows how to
rescue the godly from trials & to hold the unrighteous for
punishment on the day of judgment.
2 PETER 2:4, 9
WHAT ARE WESAVED INTO?1. The covenant family of God
WHAT ARE WESAVED INTO?1. The covenant family of God 2. The kingdom of Jesus, here & now

of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit.
