1.The verb be indicates existence, temporary condition or permanent status:

-It is really hot today.

2.The base form is be, the past participle is been, and the -ing form is being:

-I'll be back tomorrow.-He has been a doctor since 1998.-She is being nice today.

3.The verb be is also used in progressive tenses, passives and prepositional collocations:

-He is writing a letter to his brother.-The people were surprised by the news.-I'm interested in making money.

There are two main types of numbers:Cardinal Numbers - 1 (one), 2 (two) etc. (Used mainly for counting)Ordinal Numbers - 1st (first), 2nd (second) etc. (Used mainly for putting things in a sequence)

Cardinal numbers: Are normally used when you:count things: I have two brothers. There are thirty-one days in January.give your age: I am thirty-three years old. America was discovered in fourteen ninety-twoNotice how we divide the year into two parts. This is the form for year up to 1999. For the year 2000 and on, we say two thousand (2000), two thousand and one (2001), two thousand and two (2002) etc.

Ordinal Numbers: You can normally create Ordinal numbers by adding -TH to the end of a Cardinal Number.Ordinal numbers are normally used when you:give a date: My birthday is on the 27th of January. (Twenty-seventh of January)put things in a sequence or order: Liverpool came second in the football league last year.give the floor of a building: His office is on the tenth floor.have birthdays: He had a huge party for his twenty-first birthday.

Secretary: A secretary, personal assistant, or administrative assistant is a person whose work consists of supporting management, including executives, using a variety of project management, communication, or organizational skills.

Stylist: Person whose job taking care of the style and image, especially in decoration or fashion.

Architect: An architect is a person who plans, designs, and oversees the construction of buildings.

Painter: A painter is an artist who works with different kinds of paint, usually on canvas or paper, to create pictures.

Pilot: A pilot, sometimes called an aviator, is someone in the aviation industry who operates various types of aircraft in order to transport passengers or goods from one location to another.

Teacher: A teacher is someone who becomes through many years of training and experiences in the field. The job of a teacher is provide education to the students.

Farmer: A farmer is an individual who engages in agriculture and raises living organisms for food or raw materials. The farmer also does livestock husbandry and grows.
