• The idea came from Marie Clare's makeover application.• We have 2 platforms:

–Kiosk–Mobile App

2D Virtual Makeup Assistant - KioskHARDWARE:• Touch screen kiosk• Has built-in camera that can capture and reflect an image

result with higher resolution that’s almost similar to actual skin color.

SOFTWARE:• Users can choose from different makeup brands and color displays

that will reflect on the image uploaded.• Users who are buying cosmetics for event purposes can choose

from range of occasional cosmetic suggestions• Users will have the option to send the uploaded image (captured/

virtually edited) to the mobile app

1. Upload photo using the kiosk’s camera2. Once image is uploaded, system will prompt users to choose:

– Continue (to proceed with the application)– delete (to go back and re-take picture)– cancel (go to home page)– Send to mobile to edit picture in the app

3. Clicking continue will prompt users to choose:• Daily makeup

– Face( foundation, concealer, blusher) ** user can do the makeup selection

– Eyes(eyeliners, mascara, eye shadow) ** user can do the makeup selection

– lips(lipstick, lip gloss, lip liners)** user can do the makeup selection

System Flow• Events

– List of events (weddings, party, clubbing, formal office meeting)

– Suggested images with makeups upon selection of event. Users can choose any image that they want and the system will apply the same makeup used in the image to the customer’s uploaded image

• Send to mobile– Click to send the uploaded image

or the edited image to the mobile app

– users are required to enter their registered account under mobile app (for registration details, refer to mobile app)

System Flow• The left side will show the options users

can choose between brands, type and shades of makeups. By default, the left side will show the makeup in different colors. Users can have the option to sort the selection per brand name and price range.

• The right side shows the image uploaded where users can see the makeup being applied to the picture by the system.

• As soon as the user selects an item, below the screen will display message of the product price, brand and shelf location

• Each type of selection will have an option to send the image to the mobile app.

• Users can click home page button to end the makeup selection.

System Flow• User needs to download and install the app before

sending the image from the kiosk• Upon installation, user needs to register either by

Facebook or mobile number and set their password to create an account.

• Users will have the option to: - use the picture sent from kiosk (advantage is the image will have the actual resolution even when viewed from mobile phones) - Take picture from own camera - the image resolution may vary depending on the mobile phone used.

• Users will have the same selection like in the kiosk• Users can have options to save the image or share

(email, social networks)
